- How to go live on LinkedIn using Streamyard.
My advice - create the live event a few days ahead of your actual LinkedIn live
You cannot go live directly on LinkedIn - you must use a third party tool. I use Streamyard for this.
00:00 how to create your LinkedIn Live
00:30 Create your account on Streamyard
00:43 Add your destinations
00:52 Create a broadcast
00:57 Select the channels you want to stream live to
01:04 Add your title
01:15 Add a description
01:34 you cannot change your start time once it has set
01:41 Add an image for the event/livestream that will show up on your LinkedIn account - this should be 1280 x 720 px
01:57 Choose the date and time of your livestream
02:04 Customize for each destination
02:13 Create broadcast
02:22 Enter the studio and set up your links you want to share on the livestream ahead of time.
These could be a links to your website, an offer you want to share, or links to your UA-cam channel.
02:35 Enter your display name
02: 49 how to set up your links - go to Banners on the right hand side - add the banner and when you are live, you can select this to show on the screen.
03: 35 Now, go to your LinkedIn account - back out of the studio, click on the three little dots on the menu and view the event on LinkedIn
04:25 Add your fellow speakers, and start to invite your network to the event ahead of time.
04:35 Filter who to invite by location or industry
04:47 Add the event to your calendar
05:17 You can see who has said they will be attending under the Networking tab
05:31 Edit on LinkedIn and edit on Streamyard separately if you need to change anything
05:38 Email your connections to invite them and you are all set to go live on LinkedIn

It seems that i can not find the Stream Yard@@RaiseYourVisibilityOnline
Thank you . Really helpfull
You're welcome! I accept payment in the form of likes and shares.
Hi, Louise. Tks for these precious tips. By the way, in your opinion, what is the best time for an a live broadcast? Morning, around lunch time or at night? Tks again and congrats.
Hi George, this depends on who you want to speak to. What timezone are they in, are they able to watch live?
@@RaiseYourVisibilityOnline Same time, all Capitals here in Brazil. That’s not a problem. I’m just thinking about the best time, in your place (Ireland) to engage the audience. Tks again.
Entrepreneurs and small biz owners, mid morning, C Suite early evening or wknd... think about who and what their day looks like. How long is a piece of string!
@@RaiseYourVisibilityOnline Fantastic! Tks, Lousie.
at 2:43 approx, the highlighted 'view' option - is that the best one? I want to have a group view, i.e. see as many faces as possible on screen, not just the speaker
You can bring your speakers in screen. I think around 10 people is the limit?
Thanks! Just saw the maximum no of attendees for Streamyard is 10-15. I have more for my upcoming event. I created the event through my LinkedIn and then will live stream through StreamYard. Will it inhibit more people to attend once the max is reached?
I believe that is for live hosts - e.g. people you invite onto the streamyard to present alongside you. You can have as many viewers as you want!
@@RaiseYourVisibilityOnline Thanks, this helps
@@RaiseYourVisibilityOnline Is there a way to see Live attendees post the event either in Streamyard or LinkedIn. Can't seem to retrieve them
@@IreneKairu-l7g I believe you should be able to see them on the LinkedIn event under Networking?
@@RaiseYourVisibilityOnline I'm only able to see analytics and under networking, attendees who registered but Not the Live attendees once the event was Live...
can you add people to the live on video while streaming?
hi Claudia, yes you can - its a bit fiddly - you would need to copy the invite on Streamyard, send it to them via messaging so I guess if you have someone on your admin team helping, that would make it easier?
@@RaiseYourVisibilityOnline thanks for your answer, I did a live yesterday your content was very useful. One thing I am still not sure is, can I see who was watching it? Because on Instagram when I do a live I can see who is connecting but yesterday I could only see the comments
@@claudiaenergetics7821 you can see (this is a bit odd) your comments and viewers on the mobile app - its really quite hard to see on the desktop version of LinkedIn and you can't see them at all while you ARE live. Bit frustrating! I suggest you ask people a simple question they can answer (like.. where in the world are you) and they can then answer, and you can see who they were afterwards. Good luck, and keep me posted
The interface no longer works like this :/
Time for an update!
I wish I had a cool Irish accent for my broadcasts.
Hi thank you for the tips you shared, can we go live with Livestrom? as we are using this platform for our webinar...
I'm not 100% sure but I'd say probably!
Thank you so much !
