Hi there. Loved the video it was super helpful. I just watched another video where someone created it as an event first as a linkedin post and then connected to stream yard. Does this work the same? I noticed when he did it this way he was able to put a url to his privacy policy which enables linkedin to get the email addresses of those who watched and create a csv file to send to us. I didn't see then when you did it this way?
You can do it both ways yes 🙂 I typically ask people to comment something ("WORKSHOP" for example) as an action that they want to me contact them after the livestream 🙌
Hey Trishana - you can absolutely go live on LinkedIn using the FREE Streamyard plan. However you won't be able to change the branding (upload overlays / backgrounds) unless you upgrade to the paid plan 😉

Streamyard automatically records all livestreams, so you can always download them from your dashboard 🙂
does it update the post / event page on LI with the stream yard link? also thank you for this. immensely helpful
When you go live, your scheduled post will turn into livestream automatically 🙂

Do I need to update my free streamyard account to paid plan in order to do a Linkedin live?
