I hope you enjoy today's #Painting with #Frosting #BobRoss video! I have never painted anything before and had no idea it was possible to do something like this with frosting! I grew up watching Bob Ross and he was always such an inspiration to me. Not only did he make painting fun and accessible, he had such a positive outlook on life.

Near the end when you started just going for it and not worrying too much you immediately unlocked your Inner Bob. It’s what Bob wants. For us to just go and do what we felt was right, and just be happy with ourselves and what we can and have accomplished rather than what we couldn’t do :)
I'm a painter and over the years I've learned to just go with what I want and I'm so much better because of it. :)

Wow! That's excellent for a painting with actual paint. The fact that you did such an amazing job with frosting is incredible. You definitely have talent! I've been painting for years and would be thrilled with this result.

Ro I noticed that you where saying a lot “it doesn’t look like bobs” I take 3 different art classes and they all say if you make a mistake it is a beautiful oops that may help boost your confidence

Also, of course it won't look like Bob's when she's using such a different medium. I can barely get buttercream to do what I want on a cake, so I'm really impressed that this came out looking like a believable landscape at all! So what if it doesn't look exactly like the tutorial?
Fun fact: Bob Ross was actually a drill sergeant at one point, but when he stopped, he promised he would never yell again for the rest of his life.

I did a big picture of a butterfly and flowers using crayola sidewalk chalk (100 count). It turned out AMAZING. I was surprised. The chalk created a nice fluffy looking texture. The only problem was that nobody believed me except the people that lived with me that saw me doing the art............ Since it was so delicate and I didnt have a frame at the moment I decided to use art sealer on it to preserve it. HUGE mistake. It ruined it and I cried. I had spent almost a month on it for nothing😢

Coming from someone who enjoys creating art, I really think that you should explore this hidden talent that you discovered. I really think you have the potential to become a super talented artist. I can hardly believe this is your very first painting... and with frosting. I can only imagine what you'd be capable of with some decent art supplies. Something to consider. Did anyone else notice that it was raining in the beginning but as she got further into the painting the sun started to shine? Bob Ross really does brighten someone’s day. Then at the end it’s dark outside and shows the day came to a close!
