I love how the waddle dees aren’t enemies anymore, and are instead allies that you rescue and create a village with. They deserve it after the years of punishment they’ve been through.
Yeah it’s not like Goombas or Koopa Troopas, the Dees are just following Dedede’s orders or minding their own business. I mean, there’s probably some nasty ones out there, but for the most part, it’s good to see them getting a bit of a break.
I don't know if it was just me but I always seemed to dodge the waddle-dees. They never really seemed to want to hurt me and sometimes they were just sleeping, I mean, how could I in good conscience eat someone who was sleeping?
Kirby doesn't often kill waddle dees out side of game play.
The only examples I can think of off the top of my head are a few kirby triple deluxe scenes.
This honestly looks to be one of the most beautiful, cutest games on the Switch! Haven't played much of Kirby other than the NES and SNES ones but this might be the one to pick up finally!

I really like the waddle dee town, there's something about towns in game that grow as you progress that just makes me very happy.
It’s almost like having a fleshed out world and putting effort into a game makes it better!

This game looks absolutely phenomenal, while the first trailer really made us excited about a 3D Kirby Game being made, this trailer really showed how vibrant, fun and over all very exciting the game is. The levels look fun to play and the Hub World and World map look to connect the game well. It also comes out in March which is like no time at all. Very Excited!

@@why3994 The first 3D Kirby game was Kirby’s Blowout Blast, but it’s really just a bigger mini game. There isn’t a story or copy abilities.
It's 2022 and I'm more hyped for Kirby than any other IP. This really is an incredible year for gaming

The best thing about this is because it's now in 3 dimensions there is room for more variety in hat powers.
One small issue with old Kirby games was many powers felt redundant or inferior to other ones because you'd have like a couple that could erase screens of enemies and a few that did next to nothing.
I mean it was still fun to just play around with whatever you got but it still limited the variety.
My whole life I've been waiting for Kirby to get his due. This looks like the time has finally arrived 💗

In some shots of the Village you can see the coliseum that was shown at the end with Meta Knight. There was also an audience of Waddle Dee from the village, so Meta Knight probably isn't a bad guy, maybe you have to beat him to unlock him as an alternate 2nd character.
Also I know that Meta Knight isn't a 'bad guy', but he has fought kirby on occasions, also Dark Meta Knight took his appearance at one point, but I don't think this is that again.
He was never a bad guy, he's not evil, just edgy.

This is the kind of presentation I wish a certain other game looked that also went with a more open exploration approach. This game looks really fun and charming. A 3D Kirby could be a nice refresh for the series how 3D Mario did for those games.

I remember playing kirby on the 64, and it was amazing. I couldnt believe the various abilities i could have. Cant wait for this game
I honestly believe that Animal Kirby would have been much more suitable for this game rather than Drill Kirby, especially considering the theme of the Beast Pack. It already covers all of Drill Kirby's basic uses and functions as well as a handful of other useful techniques that Drill Kirby doesn't have.
I read somewhere that Animal Kirby was gonna make it in initially but it was scrapped because technically every enemy would be able to give him said ability, since they're all animals, and that would be kinda busted. So they just gave him a similar but not as versatile replacement in the end.
This actually looks amazing! Haven’t played a Kirby game in quite some time but I won’t be missing out on this one! 👀

I've been wanting a proper 3D Kirby game for decades, I'm so glad he's finally getting a chance to shine.
This is going to bring back good memories of me and brother playing Kirby games. Where I had to always play as Kirby because he couldn't stay alive no matter what game it was. It was fun all the way through though.

I’m super stoked to play this game. It really looks like HAL Laboratory is going all out with this title, and I’m really excited to see how they’ve adapted “Kirby” to a 3D platformer.

This was announced in a direct in September. It just didnt get a follow up video until now.
CJ is right. This was revealed in the huge direct last year. It was just overshadowed by Legend of Zelda BOTW 2, Pokemon BDSP, and Pokemon Legends of Arceus.

I only ever played the handheld Kirby games, but I’m excited for this one! It looks like a combo of 3D Mario + Spyro. I’m excited to see if the co-op is fun with my wife or if it is more satisfying single-player

@@HeyoChris you are doing yourself a disservice. After you play this game, make sure you play Kirby Super Star for Super Nintendo or the DS version. Then the NES ones and N64. I grew up with the n64 one so I’m more biased towards that

@Otneimica Yeah, I'm highly anticipating what sort of weirdness comes with this title. This game looks like the EXACT type of game I would've loved as a kid! Especially as someone who grew up with kirby. So hopefully the world is jam packed with wonderful things to explore and learn about as well as the usual terrors and horrors that are par for the course. It comes out exactly 2 weeks before my bday so I'm excited.

I honestly haven't been that excited for a Kirby game since 2011. This has changed that. This is exactly the fresh take on the series I wanted and it looks incredible.

@@samperez1727 Yep. Return To Dreamland was the last game I REALLY enjoyed. Doesn't mean all the others are bad, it was just the last one I found particularly interesting.
