    This video helped me so much with the wiring! I gave up on my chocolatier set and was determined to get this one working and I did 🥳

    What a great video. I just bought this kit yesterday so haven’t started it yet. I have done several of these by various makers and one other by Mayberry and was pleasantly surprised by its quality. They did not do a good job of hiding the wires in the Chocolatier though so I was especially grateful to you for going in depth with the electrical. Many thanks.

Most of the videos don't show electrical part ; thank you very much . question : did you show videos from the beginning with this kit? if not , no problem , you give the best part and difficult part of the montage .

    You make it look so easy! I have Room in Bloom that honestly I’m terrified of starting because I’m afraid of messing up and giving up. Do you make all the small pieces first, then the “room”, or vice versa? Also, the glue - does the kit glue work or do you have better suggestions for the fabric and wood?

    • @hawj89
      @hawj89  3 роки тому +5

      lol trust me, i end up with glue EVERYWHERE by the time i finish! but i make all the small pieces first before i build the "room". as for glues, my go-to are super glues specifically loctite gen control and liquid control. they're fast drying so i use them like 95% of the time. the alcohol glue in the kit isn't bad, but i like to use clear tacky glue from hobby lobby.

    Thanks for this video! So, does the kit not come with a music box? In the instructions, the final product is pictured with one, but there was nothing about installing it and nothing in the kit.

    • @hawj89
      @hawj89  2 роки тому

      thanks for watching! some kits don't come with the music box unless the listing says it does. for me, a music box isn't a must because i'm not playing it enough to need to install it, but if it is for you, you'll have to buy it separately or ask the seller if it comes with it before purchasing the kit. i think one reason why it doesn't always come with one is because you can get one that is in the tune you want separately from the kit.

    In the instructions it says to remove a plastic strip on the battery box but I’m not sure which strip they could be referring to, could I get some help?

    • @hawj89
      @hawj89  Рік тому

      I think it's just referring to the little plastic piece you take out before the battery starts working...it's a plastic stopper to cut the circuit from the battery so it doesn't go to waste/drain it while sitting in the unopened package.

    lol okay so I’m a male and I’ve traded hobbies from video games to learning to build/paint. This is my first build. When you say this took about 2 days, did you spend all waking moments morning til night doing this? Dang I can’t wait to get better at this stuff I’ve probably logged about 7 hours total figuring out the cake cabinet area from page three, the bar counter area from page four, and the wall cabinet area from page five. Also I haven’t built many of the paper foods since I don’t have a space for them to sit yet! How long have you been doing this? Any real assistance on understanding miniature paper crafts? I just figured out the blade is better for cutting small objects over scissors but folding and gluing is a pain! I’m practically stuck on the milk cartons as I can’t figure out the top half, the “instructions “ are too vague.

    • @hawj89
      @hawj89  2 роки тому +2

      LMAO no i didn't spend all of 2 days on this, however i do take the majority of the day building just because i want to get it done. they're very time consuming.
      i'm still figuring things out too and it gets better with every build. i like using a blade and a sturdy ruler to make straight cuts when cutting out the templates because it gets too tiring with the scissors. the instructions are definitely very vague, but it also leaves room for creativity. you just kinda have to play around. if i or anyone make a video of very single step to these kits, videos would be outrageously too long and taxing on the creator. it also helps (at least for me) to watch diorama builds and also look at life size items and pull things apart like cardboard products to get an idea of how it was put together. it's the same idea when building these miniatures.

      @@hawj89 Thanks for responding back. The gaming community has somewhat spoiled me as board games and video games have full play Throughs on UA-cam and so yeah I kind of got used to being able to see everything when I wanted to. This is a different experience and I actually feel like I’m doing something worthwhile. Appreciate the information I do like flexing my imagination muscles So getting to play around freestyle is nice. I don’t remember the channels name but I did run across a video of someone who prints their own minis and showed some carton folding techniques.
