Manor Lords is a strategy game that allows you to experience the life of a medieval lord. Grow your starting village into a bustling city, manage resources and production chains, and expand your lands through conquest.
Inspired by the art and architecture of late 14th century Franconia, Manor Lords prioritizes historical accuracy wherever possible, using it to inform gameplay mechanics and visuals alike. Common medieval tropes are avoided in favor of historical accuracy, in order to make the world feel more authentic, colorful, and believable.

6:38 Instead of the fallow feild at the village entrance you make a large house with carrot extension so will get a similar aesthetic plus a good food supply
I love how you do a walkthroughs and scenic views because that is a big part of the game; I love your expertise on production and I learn from that; most of all your enjoyment of the game just makes it all so fun.
You have such a natural feel for playing these types of games. It's lovely to watch you play and grow so well!! I look forward to much more 🤩

Hmmm... hadn't noticed the doors on my trading posts... must check! The aesthetics of this game are tremendous! And that's some set-up you've developed there Egg! Very impressive...
Oh, don't forget that trade goes two-ways from the pack stations so you don't need to man the pack station at the outpost as you can send mules from Eggenhau to fetch the meat... I think.

The Saw Pit seems to be bugged. If you have two families assigned, no one ever goes to work to make planks. From what I can tell, one family brings a log and the other family takes it back out and eventually they just got home and wait. So take out the 2nd family, build a 2nd saw pit and add one family to it.

Loving the series Lord Eggington, Just got to my third province and I've found that vegetable gardens are so overpowered in terms of production. I've got one province sorted for food for 55 months 😆

It's funny that there's no way to decorate like on cities skylines but you can find ways to do it anyways by leaving trees up and making them central areas in the town. That one that's by itself toward the end of the video is a nice focal point. Plus if somebody was looking for a building somebody could tell them it's by the central tree and it could almost be a landmark
The part at the end of the video where you couldn't get over the 2 foot tall fence was hilarious 😂

Another question, just because I'm interested, will you make another modded /themed city in CS1?
Would you ever consider a modded UK or European build maybe? I know, Biffa does that and I like it, but you have much more sense for detailing or do you have any other ideas?

Great to see the army can hold off those larger enemies. With the pack trading, does that deplete the resources of one province for the expense of the other? Also, did they add new weather cos I swear I hadn’t seen windy before

May Eggenhau was medieval Egginburgh (if that’s the case, you should rename the other regions as germanized version of Whisky etc) or Eggenhau was the hometown of the original settlers of Egginburgh until wars forced them to migrate.
Don't assign two families to the sawpit! The production is actually limited by how many logs it can store (1) so it doesn't really improve its efficiency. If you want more planks build two sawpits!

As the city grows in density it would be great if you could add residences to the larger burgage plots in place of the backyard amenities (without removing the initial home). Some of the long gardens right next to the church as the central town grows feels wrong!
I’m thinking the dev will probably patch those extra long burgage plots that are being used to cheese farms.
For the tailor artisans, I think you need to pick what item you want them to make and I think some of them will require dye. Might be time to turn some of those plump, juicy berries into dye.
What is the best and fastest way to make coin, I seem to be running out of coin and regional wealth. Could you give me some tips or do a video purely on making coin and regional wealth please?
Are you able to see the other Manor? How are they shaping up as an opponent?
Not currently, AI city building in the game is an option in the sandbox that is not yet available. It will arrive likely as part of a major update introducing AI settlements on the map
Love the series egg. Why don't you try to draw market stalls inside the "roundabaout" in the middle of the burgage plot so they are not empty

Instead of importing pelts can’t you do some goats in the burgage plots?
I have been watching others playing this so i can get a few tips one guy has done the same as you he went egg daft then he did veggies and to get extra meat he did goats plus he used thier hides for clothes

I did pick the game up and am loving it. Very chill and enjoyable. Seems like I saw another player move a market stall from one market place to another. Next time I play, I'll have to check that out. That might help fix some of the market issues. There are a couple of things I hope the devs look at. I think we need a population management window so we can adjust the all of the workers from one place instead of having to click on each individual building. I would also like to see the market mechanic adjusted. Towns folk will walk across the entire map to fetch one sheep but if they have to walk more than 50 paces to the market, they start cursing and flipping obscene gestures at the Manor Lord.

My specs: 4070 ti super, 13900K, 64 gb DDR5….i don’t get it
Update drivers, verify game files and if still not working they are aware of bugs that are getting addressed in the first patch. 1 crash in 50 hours for me
