They're a lot more "natural" than the considerably more de- and respawning that I expected to see. Especially Yoshimitsus Rageart surprised me by how true the RA is to the actual location of the characters.
The ones from the original Tekken 7 are considerably simpler in nature. The ones starting from Fated Retribution (meaning Nina and Akuma) use more complex camera angles and visual tricks. The ones they adjusted from the original 7 (like Josie or Devil Jin's) also have the same sort of tricks (if you could do this to their original Rage Arts they'd probably look more natural, given how the opponent moves during them).
Just a heads up everyone, I've recorded Shin Akuma, Devil Kazuya, Heihachis Kazumi fight super, Devil Kazumi, Chloes name combo and I'm working on all of Kings extra supers. Should be out by Saturday!

I want every character to do something special, and I don't think that's an odd thing to want. And by the way, they're not JUST fighters. There are a hefty sum of characters in this game that DO have powers or are robots or something, so I think having the human characters do something other than punch in slow motion is a little more exciting than the same thing over and over.

Ok, first of all, the characters in this game aren't real people, so the creators can give any of them any ability without needing an explanation, so saying "its weird to want something with power for character who don't have powers" (which was a poorly constructed sentence might I add) isn't valid because making some characters absurd while other characters just punch and kick isn't very exciting or well designed. It makes certain characters seem overkill and other characters seem boring. Second of all, the point I was making from the very beginning was almost every character's rage art is the same thing; slow motion punches and kicks. It would be MUCH more interesting and creative if every character in this game received as much originality and flair as some of the other characters such as Jin, Alisa, Claudio, Kuma, and Yoshimitsu.

Won't make a difference as to what's shown here. There's no way to remove the black out at the moment, and it's more than likely the models just T-Pose or disappear then do anything since they aren't trying to show the punches like Capcom.

I noticed there is a common formula for rage art of quite a lot of characters. Land a hit at the beginning, then make the enemy airborn then finish with a final strong blow. (Eddy, Jack, Heihachi, Kazuya, Asuka, Hwoarang, Bryan, Steve, Xiaoyu, Josie, Devil Jin, Katarina, Alisa, Feng)
It's actually really interesting to see that the rage arts persist with the stages 3d space rather than like Street Fighters teleporting. And I get it, SF is a completely different game with completely different mechanics as far as its stages go but I expected more like what street fighter did. It didnt really rely on camera trickery for the move to work within its limits aside from the obvious ones like Miguel and Akuma, all it needed the fast camera movement for was to hide the minor stuff like in Bob's where the opponent just kind of slide around to meet what needs to be met for the rage art animation
Imo this shows how much alien that kind of mechanic is for Tekken environment that they had to play around with camera so it would look good. Rage Drives are way better and more satisfying to land.
I think they confirmed what akuma does during the raging demon. If you watch the intro for street fighter 5 arcade edition, he does it to ry but in slow motion and starts attacking from every angle.
