So love this dude.... Such a master songwriter, guitar players, performer..... I was sooooo fortunate to have been able to see him on 9/7/18 in Tampa during his Farewell Tour. Such an honor, such a privilege, such a fulfilling night.... Thank you Paul Simon - so thankful we were in the same generation....
Amen. So the tour. Was in awe. He’s beyond brilliant
😍*Saw the same tour
He speaks with his hands like a guitar.😊 Thank you Paul for your gift of music. Your such a great writer and lyricist.
I love the way John Selolwane always looks at Paul
Simon intentionally while he’s singing, talking, playing, so attentive and respectful
Wow. That explains a lot!
ANOTHER REASON HE LOVES THIS SONG...
the second and third verses was a situation he was going thru. his wife stopped loving him.
"we are going to Graceland
My traveling companion is nine years old
He is the child of my first marriage
But I've reason to believe
We both will be received
In Graceland
She comes back to tell me she's gone
As if I didn't know that
As if I didn't know my own bed
As if I'd never noticed
The way she brushed her hair from her forehead
And she said losing love
Is like a window in your heart
Everybody sees you're blown apart
Everybody sees the wind blow"
Poor fellow listening is checking his watch, cleaning his fingernails, rubbing his eyes.
