Our ranch has been in our family over 100 yrs and I’m 75. We have windmills. When I was a kid we drank out of our hoses but the thing I loved best was we’d be checking windmills to be sure the troughs had enough water for the cattle if wind had been blowing or not and I’d take a tin cup out of my dads glove box in his pickup and crawl up on side of large tank and use cup to catch water as it was pumped out of ground and ran out of pipe. It was my favorite water. I’m always telling my grandkids the story which they think is funny grandma crawling out over the tank to get my cup of water. It was so good fresh out of the ground.🤗🤗
Tell Cooper hi. I live in Carrizo Springs which is 50 miles from Uvalde. My contractor and men live in Uvalde and I have a friend and her husband who I’ve been friends with 34 years and she lives there. Good people live there. I can’t believe he’s right here by us. Small world.🤗🤗🤗💕🙏🏻🙏🏻
Well I jumped on as fast as I could but still missed the items I wanted. Oh well. I’ll keep trying. Sending love and warm thoughts for this very cold winter.
There are goodwill by the pound stores in Ashville and Charlotte, NC, that are 184 miles away. When I lived in NY, I use to travel to Connecticut to,their by the lb store. I could have bought a floor lamp there, for $1. 35. All the way home I had regrets of not purchasing it. It was so beautiful.
Replay. You should show the Beatrix Potter set, and let us know which ones you need. I live for thrift shops, the bins and auctions, so people contact me when they have broken a lid, need a specific piece of a dinner set, whatever. I love the hunt!!
People, please give this video a Like 👍. It’s free, and share and subscribe because it’s all free. It helps with the algorithms, to get more viewers, to help this wonderful family. They work very hard for their viewers, in their shop being small business owners. I’ve purchased items from them, and very happy with each piece. The brass baby shoes are my favorite. Paint, Debi’s DIY Paint is my favorite, and I’ve also purchased the Milk Paint + Bond.
Random but I would love to hear you talk about how you got started with your own booth. I would love to start a booth as a side job but am not sure how to get starte. Id also love tips on how to be successful as a beginner.
Great thrift haul! Pass along to Cooper.. at Ofelias, have the Kimi Special - & then tell him to try the brisket gordita from a little place called Live Oak. Both excellent places to eat in Uvalde. If he ever needs a parent figure down this way, let me know.. I’d be happy to look after him!
When I was a kid, we always drank out of the hose. My Mom would have been very upset if we wore our wet bathing suits in the house. I was born in 1951 so it may have been at least 10-12 years later that we did this. We had well water now that I think of it.
On the rolling pins are they suppose to be loose the handles ? Most of the rolling pins I see they r loose kinda floppy but I buy them all anyway and using for crafting . 😮
Yes. But the pool was also really expensive. And we want to get the most use of it so we use it year round. When we built our house we did all the work ourself so we could afford the pool

Artichoke dip would be great in that orange lidded casserole dish.

The orange Belgium oven dish would be ideal for sweet rice pudding for one!

I have looked for bin sales in Oregon and I would have to go clear to Klamath Falls Oregon.

Well water is the best! I wish we had a well
Yes, the freezer shrinks the wax and it pops out.
We tried that and it worked like a charm

As long as they roll they work
Regarding "food safe", that's what paper doilies are for😬
True.
It’s called a ginger job because of the shape
Isn’t your gas bill outrageous? For heating pool?
Yes. But the pool was also really expensive. And we want to get the most use of it so we use it year round. When we built our house we did all the work ourself so we could afford the pool
isnt it kind of cold for swimming ?
The pool and hot tub are heated
how much is the clock without paint???
It sold.
Wow my comment isn’t here???
I prefer less chatter and more presenting the products
This is a live video chatter happens. But our edited videos are better. Although occasionally still chatter lol
