Oceano Dunes ~ Strand Way Homes ~ January 16, 2025

A walk from the north side of Strand Way down the beach, and back from the south end to the north end, along the tall dune edge. This is to memorialize what it looks like after several years of not maintaining the dunes that can aggressively pile up against the homes. We are preparing to work with State Parks starting next week to mitigate. This has been a year and a half long effort of working with State Parks, Coastal Commission and the County of San Luis Obispo. Here starts the Hazardous Sand Abatement and Dune Restoration Plan!
