Easy and short journey and a test of mental and physical faculties upon arrival but looks like a good place the moor for ashort stay. Now to prepare mentally for the crossing. Good luck, I have problems when I loose sight of land.. Enjoy
Carrabelle was a great little stop. We only stayed the one night and enjoyed what we saw. We didn't have a lot of time to overthink the crossing, but we did watch carefully for the right weather window. It is a bit unnerving when you can't see land. Stay tuned for the next episode to see how we handle the long journey! Thanks for watching!😎
The waiting game can be hard but don’t start the crossing until the forecast is good. Our next episode shows our overnight crossing! Hopefully yours will be very soon. Stay safe! 😎
Great content and video are just the right scenery and your stories from the bridge are informative. Would like to see a bit more of the towns you visit but that's just me.
Hi Walter, that's very kind of you to offer a meet and greet! It takes time for us to produce the videos and in real time we are past Tarpon Springs. Thanks for watching!😎
Always enjoy your videos! I am always interested in hearing about the decision to do the longer overnight ("red eye") to Clearwater vs the smaller hops to Steinhatchee, Cedar Key and Crystal River. Had you considered both options?
I know nothing about sailing and I know you're on a schedule, but Apalach, Cedar Key and Steinhatchee are all worth checking out for a few hours (or days) .
Hi Patrick and thanks for your comment. We flip-flopped back and forth about which route to take, but in the end the weather dictated our decision and we didn't feel comfortable with the shorter window to make all the extra stops. Either option is good, but in our case, the overnight worked for us.😎
Hi Rees, when boating one can never be on a strict schedule. In our case, we looked at both options and ultimately the weather determined our decision to do the overnight crossing and the amount of time we were able to stop. We agree all those place you mentioned are all worth a stop. Unfortunately it's impossible to see everything on the loop. Maybe that's why some loopers choose to do the whole journey again! Thanks for watching!😎
That was a pretty narrow slip that you backed into at the marina. Good Job! Those shrimp boats looked pretty old...I know they still do the job of shrimping. 🤠
Hi Derek and Randy and thanks for both your comments. It seems harder to catch fish when dolphins are around, but we have heard from other fishermen that it is very hard to catch a dolphin (thank goodness!)😎
Very nice video! Looking forward to your 'crossing' video!
Hi Tarka! You won't have to wait long... that's the next episode!😎
Always enjoy your videos
We appreciate your comment Harold and thanks again for watching!😎
Good video. Love to see the Dolphins. Tomorrow is the "Big" day to cross the gulf of Mexico...
Thanks Patrick! We LOVE the dolphins too.😊 Stay tuned for the crossing episode… 😎
Wind and current can indeed turn things “salty”…especially with a slip like that..well done !
You’re right Tony! The current was our main issue that day and we learned a thing or two. 😎
Just started watching on a recommendation from my dad. Looking forward to seeing you on the rest of the loop
Hi Billy and welcome aboard! Stay tuned for the next episode when we make the overnight crossing of the Gulf of Mexico! Thanks for watching!😎
"the air was a little blue" 😂 glad all went well thanks again for sharing your adventures
Glad you enjoyed it Steve! We are definitely human and have our moments. Thank goodness we use headsets so only we can hear the choice words.🤣

We’re at C Quarters Marina going on our second week. Been all over this town 5 times. Nice place but ready to go.

It was a narrow slip and we learned not to use fenders in this case! Carrabelle is a real fishing town. Thanks for watching T Mac!😎
Malcom I see in some of the previous videos you were fishing by trolling . I was wondering how do you keep from catching a dolphin?
Dolphins use echolocation to determine live or lure... They will steal your fish on tho. 😂
Hi Derek and Randy and thanks for both your comments.

Thanks both of you guys , I have often wondered but now I know thanks . No fear of catching any dolphins here in Montana lol thanks again
Too bad all police stations can't be that small. But . . . people 🙁
We agree John! Thankfully most people are law-abiding. Thanks for watching!😎
