I hate to say it but old Brandon is now under the Tony Khan umbrella because if you look at what he's been riding over the last year it's mostly a n t i WWE stuff. He didn't even ask Tony about the lawsuit at the media scrum last night but he'll ask WWE about their stuff so it's clearly working for Tony under the table.
Merchandise sales is literally the critical point and evidence of who really is the top guy in a company, Back then it was austin, and all the austin 3:16 shirts, then rocky, you had hulk hogan, then john cena, cm punk, DX, NWO, Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, all those i refer were at a point the top guys in merchandise sales, which made them the top guy in the company, it gives the creative team a big reason to bet on you, if you are just a flavour of the month no one will buy your fucking merch, but if you are a top talent, you are gonna sell merch as shit. This is also why i think MJF is the top guy in AEW, i think he is the only guy who sells merch of all wrestlers, his scarf might be one of the biggest sales in AEW merch
Designs play a big part too though, MJF’s merch probably sells well because the scarf is a cool showpiece. Austin’s sold out the wazoo because a smoking skull is an awesome shirt. Hence why gimmicks are still important to have in wrestling.
@@mikeg2491 Sure Gimmicks are important as hell, but i'd bet ya it's better to have a bad gimmick or be just yourself and be great at it, than it is to have a god given gimmick and still suck at it, an example, Santino Marella, shitty gimmick, but if it wasn't for that gimmick, he wouldn't had the career that he had, he won multiple championships with that entertainment gimmick, and btw that gimmick was given the best gimmick award by the Wrestling News Observer in 2007-08, He won 2 IC Tittles, 1 Tag Team Championship, 1 USA Championship, 2nd place Elimination Chamber and Royal Rumble, and a Battle Royal at Wrestlemania 25 even though it was a female battle royal but still xD.
Dude, I can't watch the videos because of the rocking. All I can think of is he is massaging a huge load he needs to drop, but it won't come out. So he rocks it until it does.
@@dankestranch8738 Never heard of that being a symptom. More likely it is a sign or a coping mechanism of someone with an underlying mental-health issue. Considering how much Conrad shills for AEW when we *KNOW* he knows better, I would bet on the latter.
Buying a ticket because Flair is going to wrestle. Leaving no Flair merch? The reason I bought the ticket and showed up and no merch. No Flair. Guy even said that one time. “You got any Flair shit?”..”No Flair.” Just that Horsemen shirt with the 4 horses on it was all they offered.
At the end of this video Eric said Bart Gunn looks better today than he did back in 1998. The problem with that statement you meant to say Billy Gunn!!!
and he got a big push, he just failed to continue, look at LA Knight, got a big push, still gets the crowd going, WWE knew Rusev was just a flavour of the month same as Elias.
I agree but oddly alot of the big merch mover that have been over with fans , i can think of a few examples over the years that i was like yeah they are fine but i don't get the hype Jeff Hardy Jey Uso more recently. this is the problem with people claiming what is the right basis i mean u got ric flair but u got hulk that people hate now but forgot they love and the longest merch top guy people blind eye that he spike wcw as well as tna because they combine the wrestler char and the real person
Senile Oldman Conrad rocking in his chair as he tells stories that no one wants to hear. Eric is older, but yet Conrad is the one dragging down the show with his senility.
Agreed. Honestly, I'd rather buy an nWo shirt to replace the one I can't find from high school. I'd buy an Ospreay jersey for my 8 year old nephew in a heartbeat, since Ospreay is his first favorite wrestler, but they don't have kids sizes on the AEW website.
And yet, WWE are moving a TON of Merch 🤷🏻♂️ it was only at Summerslam like 6 weeks ago that WWE sold a limited edition Roman Reigns belt on their website, it sold out in a couple of hours, at $600 each, generating $800,000 in revenue. It may not be “cool”, but their Merch sells a lot better… in 2023 their Merchandise revenue was $1.3bn… AEW’s Merchandise Revenue for 2023 was $154m

So female division being only twenty percent of the show of hoped to get three good females and then work with up starts and cast offs. But that's proven difficult
Let's go with Nia Jax, Sarah's Beavis, Tessa Blanchard, Katlin Bonin,Maria Kennelis I really like the idea, of being a second and or third chance for some of these performers
As far asem behind lashley and polumbo, you want Cody Rhodes, Carlito, Omos, jay lethal, Darby Allen, and teddy heart. Probably brothers of funstruction, big show if he has anything left. And a few others
Shayna bayzler still a hope for down the line. She wants to fight with Rhea Ripley and we would really get to angry to quick if we tried to take what they see as there too female wrestling talent
WWE shop official shirts are terrible quality. A weird thin cheap cotton and fit weird. I don’t care if I like the wrestler I won’t get one of those awful shirts. Fanatics brand shirts are crappy quality as well.
