His 1st few Snaps were Bad. But that was because Dan Quinn was Smart and Took Advantage. But he settled down as the game went along. Got his feet wet. I'm Happy for him.
Nice work as usual. I really appreciate your consistent focus on the Bears. Watching these games in real time, I catch myself looking forward to your breakdown. I have high hopes for this kid.
Amegadjie has nearly ideal physical traits for an NFL tackle - size with long arms, good mobility and balance. You can see his inexperience, but with more reps he could develop into a solid starting tackle. Looks like Braxton will be out for a few weeks, so Kiran will likely be the left tackle for a while, I hope he rises to the challenge.
Overall, I thought Amegadjie showed some good things on tape. I dont think he was nearly as bad as some people on Twitter are posting. Rookie linemen lose in the NFL. It's normal. How did he look across every snap? He was okay. Not great, not terrible. I think there is upside with him.
@@heyhoppy539 yeah, and it's not the first time. They lost 3 games last season that they should have seen out. Good teams find ways of winning. This team continues to find ways to lose.
Bro I do not think you're aware of how many times we have lost games just like that over the past 15 years. If this was an anomaly, people wouldn't be acting crazy about it. This is quite literally how we've lost half our games for almost two decades and no one seems to change a thing on offense. Another elite defensive game wasted because we couldn't protect a QB from a small wind gust if we tried.
Bruh Bears fans are so hard on our rookies if they don't produce in their debuts. It pisses me off as a Bears fan when other fans run the team down if we lose. We are gonna lose games, we are gonna have bad plays every team does. Its like chill Caleb is a rookie half our team is a rebuild with draft picks not veterans. I like what Poles is doing, but the coaching and offensive coordinator need to stop with bs plays.
the team is good, and the coaches did commit clearly fireable offenses in the game that very much mean they should be fired at the end of this season. These things can certainly coexist. They are actively holding back the talent of the roster by making horrendous playcalls (Doug Kramer goal line push). They are also not making the correct decisions late into games, i.e. not taking a timeout before the hail mary attempt, allowing free 15 yard play by McLaurin to make it a 65 yard instead of 80 yard throw, etc.
Not to mention Eberflus doesn't challenge anything! He also still doesn't understand how to utilize his time outs. He really has no business being a head coach.
I really like his athleticism all the things u saw on tape in college and the reasons why he got drafted so hi all showed up in his first game. Once he cleans up the miscommunications and false stepping he’s gonna be good. This is his first game in 2 years
Good analysis! The problem with being an offensive lineman is that you only get recognized when you make mistakes.I thought he had a weak game because of that one play where he blocked the wrong guy. Lesson: Don't make assessments on one play and do not trust the Romos on TV to make good analyses. They are paid to over-sensationalize.
man come on man that guy is the future why u think they drafted him in the 3ed rd and he good i said all along that that guy played better than 70 ever did and thats only 1 game and on primetime and away from home thats a lot of pressure this guy can play he is a natural and 70 is not a natural i can see this guy taking leaps and bounds it took 70 forever for us to see anything in his 4 yrs or whatever yrs he played and i also see that wright has stop leaning into the pass rusher he finally stopped i noticed it one game i cant remember what game it was but i was like o ok he finally stopped leaning and 72 is why swift scored he ran down there and took out 2 guys to spring him
He gets more live experience, concentrates on his technique and learning how to deal with the pass rush, and commits to the NFL weight room in the off-season he could be the answer we have been looking for at LT.
If I was Ryan Poles, I'd go into that locker room and say, no more f*****, show boating, no more. Taunting, you play the game. It's a job you're not in your backyard. Playing with your friends, you guys been picked here to win games. Need the show building for after you win the Super Bowl otherwise leave that garbage in your backyard
I mean, he wasn’t lying. But it’s expected as well. He was thrown in there with a bit of confusion. But he kept battling and hand some wins. At the end, still a rookie with no off-season practice.
Amegadjie made a great block on the Swift TD run but wasn't that a leg whip that took out the second Washington player (think it was Chinn)? Thought leg whips were illegal in the NFL.
He just needs to be trained and gain experience. Give him 1-2 years. If he is even slightly better than braxton jones then we dont have to worry about the tackle position as much. Poles can concentrate on drafting guards
He going to be better then Broxton jones mark my words he was suppose to get drafted in the second round but was injured dropped to 3rd round but braxton a 5 rounder
I think you're giving too much credit to Amegadije. He looked absolutely awful and the tape shows it. Every pressure was from his side, blown assignments, looking lost. Not a good showing for the rookie, he is not ready this year.
its funny u said lean into it thats the problem that i had with darnel wright he would always lean into the defender i was like huh who taught him that in college because he came to the pros with that and i was mad as hell whoever taught him that and 70 was doing it also but not as bad as wright use to do
I think he played as he suupose too didn't have no rips in real nfl game yes he come flat but he also looked like during the game started to pick they need help him little more on break contact try to hold not to get pushed back
He straight up sucked bad! Another wasted 3rd pick, Poles cant evaluate OL line. plain and simple. Jenkins has been their best Lineman, They moved him around, he played Left Tackle in College, that is why he was a 2nd round pick. He is a mauler, the coaches are coaching the BEAST out of him. The first year this staff went back and forth about keeping or cutting him which is crazy.
He was getting blown by most of the 2nd half. Then so did the RT eventually, granted. I bet Caleb has some sore ribs himself right now. I saw it with my own eyes. I'm not going to let you rewrite history on me with cherry picked clips
Chris Morgan has got to go. The OL has been bad since the day he started. That being said, we just don’t have legit OL talent across the board. Shelton is garbage - he gets bullrushed from the bigger/stronger NT/3T’s, and gets abused by the quicker, faster interior linemen. I guess his shotgun snap is good? We desperately need a legit NFL C. I like Braxton - would be an excellent swing tackle. Not an every day starting LT. Jenkins can’t stay healthy, and is up and down. Pryor, who I like, has been on 4 different teams in his young career for a reason. Bears need to sign an OL this off-season, and spend at LEAST 4 picks on OL in the draft.
So the coach needs to go and all the linemen need replaced? Wonder what Morgan would look like with actual serviceable NFL caliber offensive line talent..........
I saw an offense that couldn't move the ball in the air against a weak secondary! Nothing ever changes; the Bears try to convince us they are good when they have an easy opponent and look like a high school team against a prepared opponent! What did they do for 2 weeks in preparation for this game? It sure wasn't drop backs and timing throws! They must get wide open in practice and Caleb gains confidence from those 3/4 speed practices, but when the game comes, and the receivers aren't creating 10 yards of separation Caleb turns into Justn Fields and won't throw the ball! I also wonder what the O-line room looked like for 2 weeks? They were looking better so there wasn't any rush to go and have a hard practice of situational drills over and over to ensure everyone is on the same page regardless of what front they are facing! Sometimes I think too many players are just in it for the money and lose any hope of winning it all early in the season so they seldomly work hard enough to improve every game, not just a few!
Kiran didn't look good at all. Why in the world are we still wasting the best Offensive Tackle on the roster by a Longshot at LG? This franchise is F%CKING STUPID. Why do you guys still lend any credence to roster personnel decisions when this franchise has proven themselves to be completely inept every single time for 4 decades now. Tevin Jenkins should be the starting LT, PERIOD

It was rough in spots but he wasn’t getting bull rushed into the pocket. I think he is an upgrade.

Bears actually rushed for 200 yards in this game and Swift had 130 on 20 carries
@@twostop6895He had one good carry and 19 shitty ones 😂
@@ninjalbatross BS he had many explosive runs including where he jumped over a defender for a huge gain, he averaged 7.2 yards per carry for 130 yards
@ Yea becuase of those two big runs and did jack crap the rest of the game. That’s why the average is high.
@@ninjalbatross 20 carries for 130 yards is a huge game, Philly will exploit that and sweep the Commanders
I thought he was good blocking his guy when blocking, he literally got put in the fire so yeah he was confused on some playes but he was actually nice
Another excellent assessment by a true professional scout/evaluator.. you should see how some Bears fans are absolutely bashing their own team..
It’s because of how we lost in general, that type of loss does things to you
@@heyhoppy539 yeah, and it's not the first time. They lost 3 games last season that they should have seen out. Good teams find ways of winning. This team continues to find ways to lose.

This guy has loads of potential, and with our OL ɓeing a mess, its important to give this guy a shot - it may be one less OL position we have to fill.
I really like his athleticism all the things u saw on tape in college and the reasons why he got drafted so hi all showed up in his first game. Once he cleans up the miscommunications and false stepping he’s gonna be good. This is his first game in 2 years

The swift TD I was yelling in excitement at Kiran. I admire the trench work
Amedgadjie shown rookie mistakes, more reps is the only way to fix that. Outside of that he did pretty good.

I would sit him next game.
Really happy you made this video. Do you think he has more potential than Braxton Jones?
Commanders met with him multiple times during the draft process and used a top 30 visit on him.
That he’s a rookie and isn’t ready
Good to get a fuller picture. Tony Romo called him out a couple times.
I mean, he wasn’t lying. But it’s expected as well. He was thrown in there with a bit of confusion. But he kept battling and hand some wins. At the end, still a rookie with no off-season practice.

And now he's hurt after 1/2 game!!
answer: he showed he is NOT READY for the NFL.
As is most of the Bears O line
The kid is not ready, Jones is an upgrade over Amagadje. Maybe in a couple of years.
Wider base, stay low to extend arms when necessary.
Chicago will add to the line with there 2nd round pick.
He going to be better then Broxton jones mark my words he was suppose to get drafted in the second round but was injured dropped to 3rd round but braxton a 5 rounder
On the first clip feel cherry picked, as the DE was afraid of screen and stood back. Makes for easiar win.
He needs to be coached up because he did have a rough game. I’m just being honest I wanted him and Shane gone after this game.
