Great project Luca. Bet you could put some wheels on it and have a great pedestrian mobile unit. I hope to work you soon. Thanks for the ideas, I have plenty of copper tubing.
Copper is expensive man. Not being critical but pvc doesn't make you a walking lightning rod and costs much less. Any reason for the copper? Regardless it is a great build and a stellar setup. Thanks. Liked
Hi, thanks for your comment. Copper was just because I copied the setup of another OM. If I would make another one now, I will probably use PVC instead.
Hi, sorry for the late reply. The radio is the Yaesu FT-817, tuner is LDG AT-100ProII, batteries are two 7Ah Sealed Lead-Acid, PA is RM Italy KL203, antenna is MFJ-1979. Hope this helps. 73!
Thank you! Its a KL-203 from RM Italy. It works well form 10 to 40 m but it needs to be filtered becouse it does not have internal filters. Anyway, if you use a resonant antenna or a tuner it will work fine. It is widely diffused among pedestrian mobile community even if it is designed for the CB band.

Hi Don, as you read in the video, the idea is not mine, I just adapted it to my needs. Anyway, good idea the wheels!
Excellent idea thanks KD2MPI

Hi there! Nice video. What amp are you using? Does it work well for all hf bands?
