I had a chance to visit China early this year, mainland china friend of my cousin, and chat with local people. The situation is so bad. I was told the bride price and expectation of needing house before they even consider the man as a candidate for marriage. They expect the man to be super high quality, yet when they ask for the woman purity. The woman is so triggered. Then I ask if pay so high by the man, surely they do not have much divorce and the woman willing to be good to the man. But I was told the divorce rate is high. Then we reach a conclusion, why even get into such heavy debt, only to get high risk of divorce, and have to give the woman half the asset but not the debt?

Second (always more risky) option - Negotiate a (as armored as possible) prenup that is fair with both parties that could not be broken in the future by the laws of your country/ area. Always consider this risk when negotiating and never take the actual legal situation as granted.

i know two guys whose fiancees handed them with a prenup agreement like this a week before the wedding. these ladies tried to pressure the guys into signing it to get a huge payout for themselves. it backfired though, the guys dumped tthem 😂 women out there these days are evil and greedy.

As someone who lived in Asia and speaks Mandarin and knows many Chinese women, I always tell people never go to China to find a wife. The culture will drive you crazy. Same applies to Korea, Japan and Philippines, LOL.

As hispanic, I advise to be very catious to foreing men looking for love in Latin America too. Women here don't show their teeth and claws in the begining as other women do, on the contrary, they use very sweet manipulation tactics and hot deception to lure and seduce men to achieve their goals in the long/middle term. This means the honeymoon phase is amazing and probably last longer, but the reality check comes with a heavy interest rate.

Unless you like being your wife's families financial backup for everything and putting up with the crazy behavior of Philippine culture, you would not be happy with one of them. I lived there for 5 years.
Prenups specifying behaviour (wife will do this... Husband will/will not do such and such) are not valid because they cannot be enforced by a court.
The first point is not a prenup! It"s a scam!
