I must say that your personality is well suited for detailing as you seamlessly infuse your personality into your detailing process and it comes across great on the video...please keep up the awesome work you do to make your channel stand-out!!!
I have a feeling both coatings will stay neck n neck throughout your testing …they both seem to be pretty solid-love your videos as always! Thank you for the review!!!
This video, and all your videos, are a great way to show how “real world conditions” are drastically different depending on where you live. You have snow, ice, salt. On the other hand I live in the deep South and have none of that. So when a coating company says 3 years on a coating it will stand a far better chance of making it where I live vs where you live. Great stuff Eddie!
I am sure someone has already said something about ADS using one ounce and Ethos using three ounces but you followed manufacturer directions. I think both coating systems are winners. Choose who gives you the best customer service. Thank you for a fun video as you’re always entertaining and the camera loves you.
They both are good soaps - the test was to show dwell and clean - for me 1oz to get that much foam is great foam party is considered a pre wash 🧼 anyway they both bussin
Excellent video and review Eddie can’t wait to see which one holds the longest. Appreciate all the content and the update , hope you and the fam have a great weekend.
😂I like the way you praised Ethos(grudgingly) but then slammed them right after😂😂. So, of course, if you have to do the contact wash, which you always have to do with ph neutral soaps, then the ADS is the choice because of cost. Good vid as always!
Might be because of the cost - being told I should of used 3oz if thats the case they both almost the same price they are both great soaps, they both are slick and smell good - you cant go wrong with either one
@@Ecdetails I may have mentioned before I use, and have been using, Ethos products alot. Graphene V2.0 coating has been on my cars for almost a year. I use their Resist spray and their Fusion towel for my personal use. I use as well EZPZ and EZ Glass on some customers cars. However like you not every product Tim makes is 100% great.
Great video! Ethos did break that film a bit better, but I personally don't see that being a deal breaker for ads. As long as that film down have any dirt or grit it in, then it shouldn't matter too much. Obviously the less that's on the panel, the safer the contact wash will be. Seems like both brands are some heavy hitters!
Ya they both did amazing , also let’s be honest this like Stephanie said requires an apc rinse or something with more bite - but foam party really impressed me , I like that shampoo+ is 1 oz and foams and is so slick
Both doing fire!! Your MTM original went through it. 😂 great comparison can't wait for the nicer update. Foam party did look like it cleaned more of that salt and grime.
Both ceramic coatings holding up great, both soaps are good I was just comparing the cleaning power with no contact. which going forward imma just use 100 ml of soap regardless of brand but DIY
@@Ecdetails for sure 💪. Definitely regardless contact wash was definitely needed. But good idea 100ml regardless of brand sounds like an awesome test can’t wait for the following vids
'ppreciate you not trolling and showing what's up. Thanks for sacrificing your vehicle to the salt truck for demo purposes, lol. Definitely makes a case for an APC pre-spray or the Labo system. But a pH neutral soap is plenty good enough for maintenance or contact washing. Both still good products with the right application and got the job done.
I agree ☝️ ph neutral soap 🧼 is good for maintenance washing! For me I would have went apc rinse or Primus , even slick suds to get that grin off. Appreciate you watching!!
@Ecdetails okay, it looked black like tar for some reason. On a different note - topic or question for you? Besides P&S Express Interior cleaner, which does a fantastic job. What would you recommend for a stepup in cleaning. power for plastics and interior trim? Sorry for going off topic. P.S. That Grime wave in the previous video did a bang-up job, especially removing trapped dirt from Fabric Wheel wells
Great video as always! Eddie ! Being in a Apartment. I just got a chance a couple days ago. I finally got DIY. detail Rinceless wash. I was using OnR. And Phoenix Hydra. I used my pump foamer and spray marolex. I was just testing it? I foamed it then sprayed it. I used less than 2 gallons. I was in shock 😲😊! Thanks to your videos! Best how to videos ! On UA-cam!🥰 I still need to try Grime Wave 🌊🫣☺️!
Bro, this is sooo off topic but I absolutely trust your opinion, don't get mad but, Yo! Could you recommend me 3 Ceramic soaps for my foam cannon? I wanna try some out finally, Lol! Im lazy! I dont wanna get some, hate it and throw it away! So maybe recommend me a few affordable ones? Those $60+ gallons are crazy,Lol

Check out gyeon Bathe+ , gtechniq Gwash or Carpro hydro2 foam if you’re looking at wash + protect shampoo’s. They’re all over 20 American for a pint. I don’t consider any of them affordable.

You need to up ADS to even use of product and then will be a fair fight with boxers in the same weight class. Coatings both looked good after gnarly Idaho salt slurry.
In fairness the label on Shampoo+ states 1-3 oz in a foam cannon. Up to you to determine how much to use but logically if car is less dirty 1 oz would be enough and a car that is more dirty like in this video 3 oz would be the way to go Thanks for the videos

Both are doing really well!
Long term will tell, both companies are fantastic!
agreed!

They both good 👍🏾

Great honest and real video as always! 2 great brands can’t go wrong with either! Have you tried Ethos EZPZ coating yet?
They are both great brands and its good to see how they both perform overall
Can't wait to put ads on my car
Its good man real good
Good review 👍
Amplify vs Finish shine to see which one has more gloss and slickness would be nice
Dang 👀 I’ll have to do it on the maintenance wash
Great video big bro I enjoyed it💪🏼💪🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Appreciate you bro
Hey mate another great video. Can you use both coatings on glass and plastics?
Hey yes you can !
Nice comparison. I’m assuming a dedicated “foam” product is made to pull more dirt than one formulated as a bucket wash soap?
Ya I said the at it says prefoam but this is ethos ph neutral soap 🧼 they are both great products
Is that grime that you showed; road tar?
No just road grim, salt dirt

Diy makes an amazing rinseless thanks for sharing your experience. I tried grime way on matts I was blown away
Nice! How many ounces or milliliters of water did you use in the cannon?
Man I suck I tired it get both at the half way or slightly above
Great video, Eddie. Where can I get a sweet Labo hat?
It was givent to me I wish I could get more lol

Used the dilution that both bottles said 1 oz ads - 2-3 oz foam party based off the label

@@EcdetailsADS says 1-3 ounces on the label. You used the maximum foam party(3 ounce) and the minimum ADS(1 ounce).
Come on guys when has EC ever followed directions😂😂😂
He’s giving a great example of the average consumer
👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿💯🎯
Nice
