they are being worked on for *sometime* in the future, not guaranteed to be a part of the very next update. only fishing is confirmed to be in the next one

This is a strange idea, for me... since Cobblemon is open source, couldn't the makers of these mods have contributed to the base mod, rather than making their own thing? Perhaps it's easier to just make an add-on, but I do hope the good ones get incorporated.
I kinda agree because it'd help more if the people making the sidemods would just put it towards the main mod but at the same time they could just wait to add in unofficial stuff right now and focus on making stuff for the main mod and ask later on to use it. Seems like a splitting the work deal for now
It's because if they allowed that, then the original developers of the mod would become responsible for maintaining all these currently out-of-scope features, and the mod as a whole would become a mess. It's much better to support add-ons which are maintained by the people who create said add-ons.

I think that right now i prefer pixelmon, but only because they’ve been around so long and have had the time to add so much. Its only a matter of time before cobblemon leaves pixelmon in the dust
little warning when using the cobbledex mod on servers, it seems too tend too crash the server when ever you try too use it, and it seems to cause you too not be able to pick your starter, so i would wait for them too patch it up a bit
I’ve been playing a server called Cobblemon Delta, they have a lot of these features or something similar, but also have player run gyms, tournaments custom pokemon, tons of legendaries plus ultra space and ultra beasts, it’s super fucking cool

how do you have extra animations on some of the pokemon like scizor and gengar? they don’t have animations for me and i’m currently playing 1.5 was it added in 1.5.1?
if you're running a server, the Cobbledex recrafted still won't work for multiplayer and will immediately crash your server, but for single player - it should be fine
hey i have a question. Why your fire and lighting effects on pokemons are shining? i download the same shader but my charizardX or gengar aren't shining effect. Is it a texturepack maybe or wrhat?

Again, not absolutely sure! Not sure why Pixelmon specifically got taken down. Pretty sure they could continue since it was free (could be wrong), but generally, free works shouldn't cause any infringement. I mean, it's still alive?

Maybe thats why pixelmon got taken down it was literally becoming pokemon minecraft and not minecraft pokemon? Regardless i hope this stays around because pokemon+minecraft= my 2 fav things
@@molassesman4066 also, you get to have pokemon I your own world and interact with them. You can build your own region, you can create new pokemon and add them in, the options are numerous. If the base Minecraft fails to provide you the ways in which you can build your world of pokemon, mods have you covered

I believe the reason Pixelmon got taken down was because it used Pokemon models from the games
