I still think "In Another Land" is the perfect description for your modeling. Interesting things about America - they were Americans but met and started their career in the UK as their fathers were USAF stationed there. They divided the rights to their tunes amongst each other, so there were no fights later. One member remarked he hadn't worked a job since 1974 because of the royalties. Hi Jeff, and thank you so much for your support again, I have got the bug again with some new ideas, just need to workout where to fit the new boards, the return loops work great but not so good for adding sidings , might even do a small exhibition layout, big problem I have with Emett is small very quickly turns into not so small, will see what happens, would like to push the wobbly track a bit more, most of Rowlands drawings show track that should really not work, Fascinating band America, I bought a number of CDs from our local market and hadn't got a clue what they were singing about, so onto Google and what a great read that was, also UA-cam of the band leaving the hotel and going the short journey to Central Park , I would have loved to have been there, take care and all the best
Sorry Carl, haven’t commented on the last videos, they have been coming thick and fast. I admire all the eccentric layouts but nothing compares with the Emett for me. I love your interpretation of the cartoons, with your additional enhancements. No doubt in my mind you are the leading Emett protagonist in UK. Cheers T

I have been wondering how you are progressing with your layout, all well I hope, I am not the greatest fan of FB but, there is a very small group on there called Roland Emett's F.T.&O. Railways , I think we talked once about a group page where we could all discuss idea's etc, if you are happy it would be lovely to have you on there, as I say its only Emett in many different scales, the chap that runs it is called Jerry. I have finally got the idea's for two new boards or maybe even a show layout, anyway all the best to you and hopefully I will see you soon.
