Omg am so happy to see this. I was in Ghana july 2019 and my family and i went to obuasi to visit a family member and the road was so bad. Lots of pothole everywhere. Am happy to see this.

if over 500 years of mining gold in Obuasi and their road is still like this, it shows how previous governments have been unfair them. In Ghana, we are not serious at all. They don't deserve that pave way not high.

As these roads are getting asphalts we need to put in place policies that will protect potential road accidents.
Let’s start with placing police officers on motorcycles along the tnew roadways to check over speeding and other driving infractions

Good job @The seeker. It seems the width of the road is more than 7 meters and if so, it can never be a single lane as single lane roads do not exceed 4 meters in width.

Okay so why can't they make this road dual carriage instead of single lanes cause in a couple of years to come people will build close to the road and expansion will be difficult plus in the next few years cars on the road will increase and new road will be needed. They also need to leave some space around the road for future expansion. Again is missing road markings and potential bus stops, where people can park if their cars spoil on the way, thank you seeker, awesome work..!

This contractor doing this job is good, you can see the quality, he needs to handle more work, his hand writing nice.
You know what? The road Minister is "crazy". He do his things like a millitary person. If the contractors do not do the job based on his specifications, he go wild on you and let you go back to do it again. He's no nonsense minister. I like him too much. He's the right person for this road ministry.

That's a good job but I want to ask the durability of such roads being constructed around the country without underlying concrete.
I recalled some time ago the President promised to have it built just like any of the roads in the advanced countries so it could stand the test of time.
But what do we see now?
Secondly what are the plans of the Urban Roads Department in maintenance of these roads?
Let's take good care of them to help road users from frequent car breakdowns due to potholes.
I wish my home town is even half tared like this.. So those accusing the president of being tribalistic, I'm an akyem and not a single road in akyem area is done and no development at all.. But all other places are seeing small to large scale development except Akyem area...

When Ghana government will construct double roads in our villages? Look this is the reason why there is accident on our roads always. Do double roads so that two cars can go at a time to prevent accidents. Two all central region roads are damage but noon of this leaders care about it but you Nana i don't think you pass any place to your home town election time will surely come.
