Sence Tim’s death I’ve watched McHales navy every night and laughed VERY HARD thanks to you and your friends. May your life with GOD be as great as we all know It will be.
ALL OF THESE VARIOUS OLDER CLASSIC TV EPISODES ARE REALLY GREAT TO SEE ONCE AGAIN SO MANY YEARS AFTER THE DAYS OF OUR YOUTH WITH MANY NOW VERY WELL KNOWN ACTORS BEFORE THEY REACHED THEIR ULTIMATE FAME - THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR FINDING AND POSTING THEM HERE.
Don't worry about offending Mr. All Caps. He copied and pasted the exact message on every episode so far. It's crude as a form letter full of boilerplate.
Mako was incredibly versatile. He could play almost any character. In the McHale's episodes he was in, I sometimes wonder how many times he laughed at Conway during a shot and it had to be done over. K.B., on the hat catch, good observation! I missed that. It's a comedy move taught in acting school. Just the right head jerk and the cap comes off, and then it's caught by the wearer. Curly Howard used it often in his work in the Three Stooges.
Fuji was the most enigmatic character of the bunch. He doesn't seem as comical nowadays as he did when I watched reruns of this show as a kid back in the 1970s
TIM CONWAY WAS IN A GREAT MOVIE CALLED THE CARL BERET SHOW AND SADLY HE DIED IN NINETEEN NINETEEN NITIN NINTENINNE NINE AND HE WAS A VERY GOOD ACTOR AS MISTER PARKER IN MCHALES NAVY AND JOE FLIN DROWNED IN HIS SWIMMING POOL AND ALL OF THE ACTORS ARE DEAD 😔
I guess these won't be shown on Cable due to what today is considered not Politically correct with the stereotyping of the Japanese, maybe they would bleep out 'nip'.
This is got to be one of the most stupidest storyline I've ever watched considering the real historical facts of the pacific war, but its sure is as entertaining and hilarious as hell.. With good vibes too.
My dad laughed his butt off when this aired back in the 60s. He fought in the Pacific on his destroyer uss John d . Henley. (Dd553).
This has to be my favorite one so far. The terms "nps" and "jps" were never thrown around so respectfully 🤣
This episode reminds me of Tim’s days on the Carol Burnett show his comedic antics are over the top 🤪🤪😉

What a funny-episode !! And Tim Conway is great in his comedic-role.
TO HELL WITH POLITICALLY CORRECT !!!
WHY CAN'T WE ALL JUST REMEMBER HOW IT WAS BACK WHEN WE COULD ALL LAUGH AT OURSELVES WITHOUT TAKING OFFENSE ???
There is a title to a book that goes, "You can't go home again" and that's why we can't go back.

@@rjonboy7608 really????
This is the best for Fuji.
19:20
Great catch!
This was one of the best episodes
Fugi had a great part in these shows. He was last remaining member until he passed last year
It seems, Mako has been the universal soldier.
He had a role in "The Sand Pebbles".
Watch at 19:20 when Conway bumps in to him, his hat comes off and he casually catches it almost behind his back! What a great unplanned moment!

@@kennethbutler1343 I'm still stunned by the cap catching
Great love the videos.

20:44
Pow!
at 25:37, is that a studio camera on the boat behind Tim Conway?
I doubt "litterbug" was an actual word in WWII. That's a 1960's term.
Google it

There must have been a lot of humidity there, it steamed the wrinkles out of the paper!!
It was wrinkled throughout the scene
Should be called the Tim Conway show
why didnt they just send fuji
Are you kidding. They would have shot poor fuj as a traitor. He went over the hill remember
The word “litterbug” did not exist in World War 2.
True but enjoy the show.
No one cares

Yup. If the storyline was accurate, it wouldn’t have been entertaining.
These times of being politically correct the term nips or japs are offensive. Could never use those words now.
