Hot take: The OG graphics are better. When playing 2024 Jailbreak, my eyes hurt after a while because of everything being brighter. In OG the lighting is a lot better to look at.

It's soo saturated and seems extremely fake. I like old Jailbreak's like cooler light tone. Gives off fluorescent lights feel. And I also like how the night is ACTUALLY night! It's freaking dark!

well, asimo needs to maintain the game so it doesnt break because of roblox updates. the game's code was scrambled and extremely difficult to put back together (at least what asimo said). besides, no one is really playing the og game anyway. you can see for yourself on rollimons

The only thing they need to fix for og jailbreak is the rocket fuel purchasing, cash menu, and duffel bag tiers. Besides that I think it's bug free and they can go beyond that to add other years with the same features

The only other thing other than hackers that they would have to update is the ps4 controls, it registers me as an Xbox player and I have to use L2 to sprint which isn’t comfortable
I do like the idea of keeping og jailbreak but in favor of Badimo it would be hard to maintain hackers and stuff so maybe you can like play og jailbreak in private servers or something. (It wouldn’t fix a lot of the stuff like bugs but it would stop hackers from annoying people)
Also, theres a lot to render in new JB than OG (I can run max graphics in OG but only lvl 1 graphics in current (iPad))
Can I also just say the old skybox was so freaking good, the night aesthetic was amazing and perfect in every way, I miss the neon light up city with darker a darker sky and prettier sunsets
the bad thing is that asimo needs to maintain the game so it doesnt break due to roblox updates. it would be much harder to maintain than regular jb because the code was scrambled to combat hackers. also, nobody is really playing og jb, about 4% asimo had said. you can check on rollimons on this as well.

I completely disagree with the pvp statement as a mobile player I have not missed the old pvp system new PvP system is a lot more pleasing in my opinion
I like og jailbreak more because:
- Cops are too op and sweaty
- New robbery system
- Skybox and environment is bad
- New season system
- UI

For me the only things that need to be changed in the OG jailbreak are the controls for mobile they are horrible you can't press the button and just run if you have to fight a police you will probably be arrested as you can't shoot and run at the same time time and if you are driving a car it will drift even without pressing the button

og jailbreak is just better but if they cant keep it they can add all the UI and maybe lil bit from the graphics like the sand and water but change the buildings from og to 2024 jailbreak buildings , the new city that has casino its good too , under base in criminal volcano base that you need to lvl up to lvl5 to unlock it its good feature and the og pvp in mobile and pc its just so smooth to fight and very fun so i hop they keep these things.
We could protest if he removes it by not buying season passes in the future since thats how Asimo monetizes now, especially since the game will probably die out if its just the 2024 version with no updates

To be honest i didnt grind og because it isnt bénéficial in the 2024 since it is getting removed
2024 is actually mid rn because of the fact that camping cops is so easy to come by. Before the prison revamp, It was so easy and fun to break out of prison. I hate the fact that 15% of the game is literally escaping jail unless there's no cops. The "C4 wall" was the best way to escape prison and it was so elite. OG Jailbreak just brings that C4 escape back. The sewers was also so easy to navigate other than the complicated sewer escape we are met with now.
This feels like asking your mom for a sleepover and listing all the reasons in a presentation 💀

Old jailbreak is actually addictive and playable, for example the guns were much better and shoot better and even was fair for criminals and cops, now its all confusing with the new mechanics they added, and its more simple and actually fun which is a game i want to play on my pc 24/7

As someone who played during the first few days, im ngl i enjoy current jailbreak alot actually, og feels clunky on controller and the ui also doesnt work on controller

Jailbreak is Jailbreak, OG is OG. I think they should keep the OG game aside from the new one (although I don't like OG at all) and just FORGET about it. The only problem will be to fix some problems in the code, after everything is done they can have a rest of it! I'm pretty sure fixing the codes in OG Jailbreak will take a couple of months, no more
Fun fact: Badimo can keep both versions, and literally ignore almost all the bugs in the 2019 version. Potato Transit Authority re-opened their oldest game a few months back and most of the bugs found were ignored.
This doesn't mean that Badimo SHOULD keep the 2019 game, it's their decision.

8:05 I rly disagree here literally just because of the simple fact that the rolling feature and forcefield are literally the only way to actually get close to super tryhard criminals as a cop. Og jailbreak is living HELL for police mains and is simply not as fun because of how unbalanced it is. Crime have way too much of an advantage especially as how clunky the handcuffs were back then.
I think the force fields could use a longer cooldown to solve the issue because I had came up against a cop and got him low and yet he used a force field and was back to full health afterwards. Then I lower him again and yet again, he uses the flippen force field!

New jailbreak is awesome, its really enjoyable to play, have such a big variety of robies, pvp and race. BUT i hate one thing, that game main thematic is about modern days but they add unmatching futuristic things that in my opinion isnot that necessary. Those healing guns are ruining existence of donuts or flying super speed cars are making roads useless. Thta all, i still prefer old jailbreak

So here’s all the things that I hate about the today’s jailbreaks (2018 player right here):
1. The game is too “realistic” let’s be honest, no game will be like REAL LIFE SO TO ALL DEVELOPERS OF ROBLOX GAMES AND NOT ONLY, STOP MAKING YOUR GAMES SO REALISTIC!
2. I don’t know how to explain but it is too “edgy” every road and everything has like weird edges to it, like kind of square-y
3. The atmosphere is too orange it’s like I’m playing a desert simulator or something
4. The graphics: they look horrible and make the game extremely laggy, and also if we’re speaking about lag:
5. The game is too laggy because it has a lot of useless additions to it.
6. The UI makes me sick, and not only me, of course!
7. As Neatzo repeats in all of his videos, there NO og places that are still in the game, everything is revamped…
There are much more things that are inconvenient to me but I just listed some of them.
Also DO NOT think that I’m hating or being toxic, I love the developers for making such an amazing game for us❤
So what would be the solution in my opinion you may ask?🤔 (I know none of you do but let me believe it😢): they should keep the OG jailbreak and maybe raise a robux donation campaign where we can donate so they can maintain the game alive🎉

I love how OG Jailbreak works. I started playing in 2022, I can play OG Jailbreak to look through the past of this game. It was really fun and bring back OG players’ memories. I wish OG Roadster and power plant could be back and some fixes for hacks😄

@@fightingtable Yeah. You can have the same amount of currency and stuff in the main game and sub-place, but badcc made a different "DataStoreSystem" so people can't easily cash in OG JB and have the money in 2024 JB.
Dude, that’s simply NOT possible, reason being that Jailbreak and OG Jailbreak don’t have data saved between each other. (Except for the fact that game passes in real Jailbreak transfer to OG)
