I have never played og mad city but I watched a UA-cam sketch play it and it looks so much better and less confusing I wish I had played this game later😢😢
Even if both prison games added brand new features or focused on improving og aspects instead going in different route like re doing the whole game e.g. mad city, at the end of the day no matter how you change it up like new season or robbery’s the prison genre is still a glorified simulator you rob get cash and buy that’s it and that’s why both games fell off and jailbreak new season is not helping that much as it’s very repetitive like simulators
Though I will also say this both games were very unique in their prison and cops genre mad city was the funky gta ish cops and robbers with heros essentially adding more chaos and more militarised vechiles for PvP instead just guns, while jailbreak on the other hand was a more refined classic prison and cops game that’s more simplistic than mad city and more polished in its own ways
they should add something completely new, like maybe a firefighter team of sorts, itll take away the cop vs prisoner type but it will really add more gameplay to the game.

The thing is that mad city did have to do chapter 2. I'm pretty sure the reason is that their main scripter left the dev team so they had to recreate the code so they just remade the whole game.

people who played jailbreak grew up and now there is a generation of children who need simple games like simulators or adopt me
jailbreak is still good. Although they focus more on vehicles now, it still has a bit of the cops vs roberrs aspect. just now as much as before
Personally I felt that Jailbreak was declining when they added the December 2021 new garage and speedometer, July 2022 graphics update(added new materials, tire meshes, vehicle reflections,adjusted paint colors, world changes) and the whole ceo and npc subtheme. This allowed for chronic innovating for the game and a focus more on the car community, which undermined the unique factors of the original cars up to season 10 and forward. Im glqd you're still rallying support for this dying genre, if roblox added back the genre sorting feature i think prison games and other themes like horror or military would have much more success. Mad City had been doing well in Chapter 2 but needed to tie it back to ch 1, like they said they would do so theres something for everybody, but they did continue the focus of the game for a long time.

im making my own cops and robbers game just incase if mad city and jailbreak dont get revived by gta 6 (more of a fan/passion project) i wont really care if my game does not blow up as its more for fun lol

@@MikeMaz1 the name is already decided but the entire project is a mystery until summer next year. its part of a game studio im in and its in very early stages rn (im planning on making it public for a week for free in the year it releases, then making it paid access until the entire game is ready for the full version release, things are subject to change)
