Ricky Morton also lies about the Dustin McPhetridge TCAP segment. For context, McPhetridge was the guy with cerebral palsy who worked transferring VHS matches to DVD for Morton to sell at matches. McPhetridge got caught up in one of those Chris Hansen Predator stings, trying to get with a 12 year old. Morton said he turned on the TV one night and saw the guy that worked for him telling Chris Hansen he worked for Ricky Morton, which never happened. At no point in the televised sting does McPhetridge mention Ricky Morton, nor in the two hour police interview at the police station. Morton is like Hulk Hogan in that they don't understand they can't tell BS lies anymore, now that the internet exists and anyone can factcheck their claims.
I saw the to catch a predator myself and saw it but it is weird that I haven't seen that again in last few years but first time I saw it I tripped. But lot of those shows got edited after they had to fire that team that helped them. The guy got arrested for all kind of crazy shit and was a wrestling mark. His last name was Von Eric or something. If I can find the tcap episode again maybe I can send it to you or something.
Gee, I listened very closely to this interview, and I’ll be damned if I heard Ricky Morton’s name mentioned once. This is what caused Ricky’s divorce? I think not…I think Ricky caused Ricky’s divorce…
Thanks for posting this. I just watched a snippet with Ricky Morton telling the story regarding this interview and another snippet of Dutch Mantell parroting it. It looks like both Ricky and Dutch should get help prying both feet from their mouths right about now.
I could imagine Ricky watching this with his wife and it led to a conversation where SHE called him out for the same behavior. In his mind over the years it became "Tully called me out". Wrestlers are also known for adding extra entertainment value to their stories for shoot interviews.
I guess. I had watched this show when it first aired. When Morton started telling his story, I thought "I don't remember that at all". I finally tracked this down to confirm that it wasn't my memory that was faulty.
No. Ricky was never mentioned...ever. Check the description of this video.Somebody hit me with a copyright claim over wrestling footage that was used and I had to take out about 15 seconds. The full video is also on this channel with the wrestling footage blurred..
I didn't remember Ricky being mentioned in the interview....The interview I do remember is Ric Flair saying HE told Jim Heard about the dirty urine because Tully's deal "wasn't fair to Arn"
He has been very specific to mention 700 Club, so I don't know. This was Mr Blanchard's only appearance on that show. Somebody else wondered if this show caused Ricky's wife to be suspicious of Ricky and it led to the argument. It's plausible that he blamed Tully in his mind and it became fact to him over the years.
Not only that, but I believe both his and Arn’s contracts were up with WWF. That why jump to WCW for more money. I mean who flunks a drug test on purpose??
This may not be the only time Tully was on there. Besides, if this is the only interview, who hasn't embellished a story to make it more interesting? Don't be so quick to judge people.
This is the only time Tully was on that show. You're right. The people who have believed Morton's story have been very quick to judge without proof. Listen to these wrestling interviews as enrerrainment only. Many of the old timers are just carnies spinning yarns.

Are you Serious? Rocking Ricky lied again? I heard him tell this story. Why Ricky, why you lie?
compulsive grandiose lies are mostly a boomer thing

pointless comment. you are a sad you know what fella

Tully is a great success story. He was a great technical wrestler. When he found Jesus Christ it is always a life changing experience.
Tully was a beast in the 4 Horseman.
Thanks for posting this. I just watched a snippet with Ricky Morton telling the story regarding this interview and another snippet of Dutch Mantell parroting it. It looks like both Ricky and Dutch should get help prying both feet from their mouths right about now.
I think so. It's unfortunate.
I could imagine Ricky watching this with his wife and it led to a conversation where SHE called him out for the same behavior. In his mind over the years it became "Tully called me out". Wrestlers are also known for adding extra entertainment value to their stories for shoot interviews.
Plausible.
The infamous Ricky Morton reference. Except, there was no Ricky Morton reference
Exactly. It seems that it was all a story to make his shoot interviews more entertaining. Apparently it's not the only time he has done that.
Don’t let the truth get in the way of a good story.
Well, Ricky needed SOMEONE to blame for his divorce. Tully was the fall guy for him one last time.
I guess. I had watched this show when it first aired. When Morton started telling his story, I thought "I don't remember that at all". I finally tracked this down to confirm that it wasn't my memory that was faulty.
Why did you Lie Ricky, Why Ricky, Why?
where was Ricky Morton's name mentioned?
It wasn't. Morton has claimed for years that Tully mentioned him on this show in an unflattering way. Obviously that is a false story.
Morton is not even mentioned.
Exactly. Ricky has been telling the wrong story for years.
I turned my back on tully over this and now to find out Rocking Ricky has been lying this whole time is unbelievable. Why Ricky, why you lie?
There seems to be a portion cut out. Is it the part he mentions Ricky?
No. Ricky was never mentioned...ever. Check the description of this video.Somebody hit me with a copyright claim over wrestling footage that was used and I had to take out about 15 seconds. The full video is also on this channel with the wrestling footage blurred..

Great Story
🙏🏾
It wasn't a matter of him claiming to have been defamed. It was that he was outed while his wife was watching it with him.
Did you watch the video yet? Morton is not telling it like it is.
@@HarkerDirgeNo, I hadn't when I made the comment. I thought maybe I had, but I guess it was only that hilarious animated thing somebody made.
I didn't remember Ricky being mentioned in the interview....The interview I do remember is Ric Flair saying HE told Jim Heard about the dirty urine because Tully's deal "wasn't fair to Arn"
Ricky had me thinking all this time Tully was a rat, Damn ricky
Me to man
We’ll never get that 9:58 back. No mention of Morton.
That's the point. Morton has said for years that Tully stooged on him during this segment.
Good to see Ben kinchlow

Everybody needs to be accountable for the choices they made in their past.
It’s why you don’t take the shoot videos as gospel truth. These guys tell stories and jokes.
Unfortunately many people have taken Ricky's story as truth. I can't figure out why he would even make it up in the first place.
@@HarkerDirgeRight. Sounds like something Marty Jannetty would make up
Did anyone think to themselves perhaps there’s another incident
Anything is possible but Ricky has always said it was this particular tv show and this is Tully's only appearance on it.
In all fairness to Ricky MAYBE there is a possibility that Tully did another interview where he mentions Ricky?
He has been very specific to mention 700 Club, so I don't know. This was Mr Blanchard's only appearance on that show. Somebody else wondered if this show caused Ricky's wife to be suspicious of Ricky and it led to the argument. It's plausible that he blamed Tully in his mind and it became fact to him over the years.
@@HarkerDirge Well at this point it’s pretty much whatever.. lol. I have my own problems! 😂
Amen, praise Jesus Christ!❤
Original 4 horsemen was not lex/Arn-Ole-Rick-Tully- that was a reincarnation after Ole left- JJ Dillion was original mgr-
Yeah, the segment producer didn't do their due diligence; the timeline was WAY off since the Horsemen came long before the Brain Busters.
Not only that, but I believe both his and Arn’s contracts were up with WWF. That why jump to WCW for more money. I mean who flunks a drug test on purpose??
@@luketuttle1096 RIP today Ole Anderson
WSI brought me here😂😂😂
Why did you lie Rocking Ricky, Why Ricky Why? Have you seen the Raging Bull Manny Fernandez lately, Rocking Ricky? Don't lie now.
@@raymondtipton7243, What's Tully lying about?

Wow...not Cool, Ricky. Not cool at all.
I never believed it but c'mon. Faker than Dibiase
