They can still chip off if you put on modpodge. It does help protect a bit though. Modpodge can make anything painted with it stick together or to other plastic if it is rested against them for long periods of time.
As a kid I used to seal all my repaints with mod podge and I hated how shiny and sticky it made everything 😭 like anything I have leftover from that time in my life is COVERED in dust and I can’t get it off bc it’s stuck to the mod podge lmao

To remove oil based paint you need a solvent like turpentine , and it only works in certain materials, that pen is wonderful in canvas and over acrylic paint finishes,

I chromed the edges of Abbys fanny pack and it looks SO GOOD! You should def try it if you want to! Also since your mom wants the thing around Cattys neck back (idk how to spell it) what if you replaced it with Stellas hot pink jacket from rainbow high.
I think you should use lol surprise cosmic novas boa and she how it looks on catty I know it’s not pink pink but it’s worth a try if you have cosmic nova or not but you could try to dye it hot pink
The lack of stands is why i haven't unboxed my G3 dolls lol my cheat for thicc dolls is to use the waist clip on the upper thigh, its my plan for Catty too
I found that if I use the chrome pens over a layer of acrylic paint on doll shoes, they completely dry down. I found out on accident when I chromed up Coffin Bean Frankie’s boot letters with a chrome pen after painting with no issue but it would not dry down at all on their bag. Something about the squishy plastic I think. But Catty’s boots came out so good!!

I have to learn how to make one if my own, it would be like a dream TvT
But really, i used crappy oil paint before to literally paint on a canvas and it really took weeks to dry. I think yours would eventually dry after a lot of time. Maybe between a week and 30 years later though

I got a good laugh out of it but I actually can't tell if it's a legit packaging mistake or the seller is just looking for money 💀 Basically the listing is I'm not sure which Abbey doll but she's fully packaged inside River Styxx's box and It's just so odd 💀 The seller claims it's a mistake but a mistake that bad?? 😭 It's not that bad of a price either so it's lowkey tempting me lol

Tip, if you cover the painted boots in Modpodge, then let it dry overnight, the paint won't chip off later.

I used oil based markers just like yours and had to use goo gone to get the ink off, they never dried as well

Your oil based pen probably never dried cause you live in Florida. I, too, live in Florida, and the high humidity makes things dry slower sometimes.
