great tool great design but what if the blade snapped or came off surely it could mess you up bad i dont know how likely that is but you should put some guards for your legs or a pulley system so you can stand away and control it. just a thought not knocking ya. its a awesome bit of kit!!!

What dimensions did you make the main arbor? What grade steel did you use?
I used all mild steel and the arbor was 5 inches at the blade and 1.5 around the shaft i think 9 inches long I can't remember exactly

adamstudd28 I agree, most of these DIY builds fall flat in this area. It only has to happen once.
