A lakeside hotel from the late 1800s n my part of Canada was called "Symbol" Inn and had a big one carved into the facade of it. Hotel is still there but they went with a different marketing plan in the late 30s.
This is misinformation, the NSDAP held its events in the Bürgerbräukeller in Haidhausen, not the Hofbräuhaus. They are two completely different locations.
However, the NSDAP was founded in the Hofbräuhaus on Feb 24th, 1920. 2000 guests were present. The exact location was in the upper floor which was destroyed during WWII.
I knew of this, learned it in school I think. And I was told they don't like to talk about it. Bavarians in generall. Probably a generalisation. But I never knew of the "symbols". Why had these guys such a thing with painting their symbols everywhere?
I figured you were going to put a Nazi spin on the story .. Germany is much more than trying to find vestiges of Swastikas. If you really want to find cool swastikas .. visit an old Buddhist temple!
Oh would you give it a rest with the this guy this and the this guy that, I'm just trying to look up beer halls because i think they're cool culture, and the first video i see this guy gets brought up.
@@leoalex2001 it’s ok if it’s protected by the government as a piece of history. Just make the beer hall a museum for Christ sake, ig that would mean closing a beer hall which Germans are not exactly jazzed to do.
NOTE: it was not my intention to make any gestures similar to what was used during that time. Pardon if it has been construed that way.
Didnt even think of it. You make those same gestures every video
Lol. I saw it immediately & was like Yikes! Totally the wrong video for an unintentional salute.
You can't even lift your hand in 2023 without an officially signed apology letter. What a world we live in.
Why apologize for nothing??? This horrible time we now live in. Fear of being canceled. Ugh.
OOP
The symbol sadly got perverted during that time, but it was used in all cultures just about around the world for 1000s of years.
Duh.

Completely wrong, this was not the birthplace of that party. A 2 second search on the internet will even tell you that....
It's totally wrong, this building was almost completely down by bombing in WW2.
Wrong beer hall dude. It wasn't Hofbräu, it was Bürgerbräukeller, which doesn't exist anymore.
This is misinformation, the NSDAP held its events in the Bürgerbräukeller in Haidhausen, not the Hofbräuhaus. They are two completely different locations.
The Bürgerbräukeller was demolished after World War II.
However, the NSDAP was founded in the Hofbräuhaus on Feb 24th, 1920. 2000 guests were present. The exact location was in the upper floor which was destroyed during WWII.
You are totally wrong, it wasn't there. This building which you mentioned doesn't exist anymore
Are you sure it was not at the other beerhall where Hitler had his first speeches ??
Bürgerbräukeller
Yep
Ja!
Bavaria had no kings in 1589; the first King, Max I. Joseph, became King in 1806.
Sad history but nice looking place
I went there for lunch the other day. I am not from Germany so i never knew that but it is crazy to think that place has so much history.
0:33 hehe
😂
Some people should simply stay at home...lol
00:33 he saluted the infamous symbols.
I thought it was a different beer hall the nazis used ?

Maybe Power Demonstration
Oh no oh no I have an inkling about that beer house… yep
I’m off to Munich in a few weeks, a little confused to what this bar is called? Looks great, would like to visit for a beer?
I figured you were going to put a Nazi spin on the story .. Germany is much more than trying to find vestiges of Swastikas. If you really want to find cool swastikas .. visit an old Buddhist temple!
Ancient synagogues had thousands adorned throughout a few thousand yrs ago. Google still has images

This is completely off topic but the movie "Munich" is one of the best films ever made , watch it if u haven't seen it!!!
I live there
Based
Don’t look up !
Did they mark the position where the famous person stood once blabbering
how childish do you have to be to avoid saying nazi and swastika like it’s some magical voodoo dark harry potter word
To right!!
UA-cam censors it.
What’s funny is how anybody even cares about. A symbol no one cares about the the hammer and sickle!
It is illegal to do so in Germany.
No you cant
They should have kept one the evil way for the sake of history
That would probably be illegal
@@leoalex2001 it’s ok if it’s protected by the government as a piece of history. Just make the beer hall a museum for Christ sake, ig that would mean closing a beer hall which Germans are not exactly jazzed to do.
It'd become a pilgrimage for nazis.
@@icedancer2370bro wtf, the beer hall is a famous restaurant in munich, we're not closing it just so that we can have a swastika to see
@@oellappen269 then don’t close it and leave it open. Just don’t cover up your history.
We're coming back. Revived and Refined. No more killing.
Kinda ticks me off. They should cover them completely.
I think it’s ok as we are reminded of the atrocities that took place so that we never repeat again.
Someone needs a safe space lol 😆
Walk into a ancient synagogue thousands of yrs old. You'll find thousands adorned throughout..goggle still has the pics.
So what’s your point really? Really who cares about it?
Dark history really woooo scary!
