I love watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Been doing it for years, but I would always watch it warmly in my house. Last year was the first time I saw this wonderful performance and a relative of mine told me about a new musical about the Four Season before. After watching it I knew I had to go see it. So my mother & aunt got us tickets to see them. The show was outstanding. I so glad that they won the tony.
All Broadway shows that perform at the parade lipsync. They do this because it can be very cold outside during that time of the year and to save the actors voice. There are some shows will perform on Thanksgiving and other shows will perform two shows the next day.
i was in the macy's parade last year, and yes, all these performances are lip synced. just so you know.... but anyways... I am in love with this show!! :)
have you ever seen Jarrod Spector? he is franki valli for the Chicago Broadway production of this. He is BY FAR the best in my opinion. he is made for the role.
I didn't mean it in that terms. as much as it might not be absolutly amazing range. I just figured that whoever posted it didn't know what singing techniques they use like falsetto.

SYNC for god sake. OF COURSE they are lip syncing. NOTICE that the microphones that they use for props do not have any wires AND they are not wearing microphones like they do in the show...there is a dot on the top of their forehead which is where the microphone is. They are singing along to prerecorded tracks.
I don't really like Michael Longoria. He's alright, but they should have him switch places with Jarrod Spector, he's the best! BTW, the announcer guy at the end is Joel Godard of Late Night with Conan O'Brien!
It's a large outdoor event so they have to use their soundtrack. I'm sure it wasn't easy because they are trained to perform LIVE. You can tell it's not their strong suit to lypsynch. But ya love them anyway. =)
