Cloth diapers lead to less Diaper rash 1. As you have to change it every time the baby is wet, 2- Cotton fabric in Cloth diapers allows air to circulate inside the diaper which helps in preventing rashes. Cloth diapers (cotton) are reusable, can be washed.
Cloth Nappies - disadvantage is while traveling, it if the baby passes poop or urine it leaks and it’s messy change it public places
So, the take-home message from Dr. Sandip Gupta is please use as much as possible cloth nappies at home as it reduces chances of diaper rash & 5 times less costly option, and use disposable diapers while traveling, and also in sometimes at night when baby is sleeping.
