- How to make a garden bouquet last in the vase. Flower farmer and garden florist Georgie Newbery gives you top tips for keeping a bouquet cut from garden flowers fresh in the vase for longer. She also gives great book recommendations and tells you where she sourced her beautiful #flowerfarmerchic blouse. Sometimes people find that their fresh cut garden flowers don't last long in water - Georgie takes the bouquet she made four days ago (watch previous video to see what she made it with, and good flowers to plant to have flowering in July,) and she shows you how to give that same bouquet another four days of life with a few simple tips and tricks. So this garden bouquet will last at least a week and likely longer - and so, now, can your garden flowers.

Bouquet still looking fabulous,, I wouldn’t put bleach in with the flowers as I like to compost the old stems and tip the water in the border under the apple tree,, waste not, want not eh ? Best wishes, Lisa
I’m with you - #bleachfreeflaars
This was helpful, does it matter how much you cut off the bottom of the stems? And do you keep doing this trimming and eventually have to downsize the vase? Thx Georgia, always informative and fun watching along😉
Yes and yes x
