Love the analysis as always - especially where you point out that the Celtics aren’t "robots" on offense. The more comfortable they get with basically calling an audible on the court, the more pressure they’re gonna put in the defense
It's crazy how clean the Celtics offensive sets are. Everyone knows where to be and how to play off each other. I watched a Thinking Basketball vid on how Memphis runs their offense and it was very similar to the Celtics with regard to their offensive discipline even as they implement a wildly different scheme. Worth a watch.
That dual threat out of horns action detailed at the end of the vid was sweet. What you want?JT loose in the paint or Hauser open for three? How about "bof of 'em"? Get well soon Grant.
I'm really hoping this usage of Tatum and Browns gravity in off ball screen action can be another way the Celtics can beat teams in the playoffs. The drive and kick game lives and dies on those 3 balls going in, so having some more diverse action and weaponizing the Js improvements as playmakers to get wins
Nik, your videos make me happy. You're a good egg. Any thoughts on the NBA cup? It seems like a lot of folks are overreacting to small sample size theater. I mean the Lakers won the cup last year and that didn't translate into them becoming a juggernaut. The Pacers lost in the Cup finals and they had a better rest of the season than the Lakers, especially in the playoffs. So it's crazy to me that suddenly Giannis and the Bucks are all but unstoppable and OKC are fraudulent trash. I do think OKC has some issues with regard to size and shot creation, and much like the Celtics of old, the Thunder are going to have to come through in the clutch to beat the choker label. With that said, I'm still betting the Thunder go farther than the Bucks in the post season. In any case, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the matter. Thanks again for all you do. Shoes off! Lost to Bulls. Cs still look to me like the team to beat but our one weakness is that we are not very athletic. We are a half step behind the league average and it showed tonight. The Bulls are particularly fast team, and they won tonight because they shot the lights out, but the concern is the first two or three rounds of the playoffs we will play burner teams like Bulls, Pacers, Hawks and get worn down by the time we play a team that can approximate our talent level. Not predicting that, think we're gonna hang another one this season, but speed can kill.

Joe's smart & slow pace offense helps JT and JB know exactly where the help is coming from, in turn cutting down turnovers.

The look a team that are running the game plan. But the wizards are not playing defensive. Great video👍

I sure hope Mr Glass is ok. Love ya Nick. Go Celtics!
