  • This is a game called 'Square Up!'. It actually consists of two boards and two shakers, to be played at break-neck speed against an opponent. But I find it relaxing to play without the competition, and the sounds that it creates.

    I watch this 1 video each and every night, w/ headphones... I LOVE how its to the asmr point, no planned out tapping/scratching, no 5 minute explanation/intros. Except for the quick part or examining 1 green piece, its exactly my kind of trigger. THANK YOU!!! Make more? please?? LOL 20+ minutes or more is ideal.

    This is great. I had this game as a child here in the US, only it was called Rubix Race. You are right, playing the game 'properly' is the exact opposite of relaxing.

    Perfect touch. I had a stressful day and listened to this when I got home. It gives my entire scalp chills. It's also sneaky of you to make our brains work while we're relaxing. Thank you, Soundsculptures!

    Those clunky, shuffly sounds are very nice. Reminds me of spending many a minute listening to people solve Rubik's cubes and puzzles.

    It's probably because we think, behave and understand differently, as we get older.
    I'm glad that UA-cam has so much to offer, and that there are awesome people (like you :D), that use their time and effort to make incredible videos :)

    I try to play a little game with myself by attempting to watch one of your videos without getting ASMR.
    I have never succeeded. I always get the tingling sensation even when I try not to. Your videos are brilliant and addicting! I absolutely love them! Wish I could multi-subscribe lol :)

    This game and rush hour are probably my favourites and I do enjoy the water marbles one, I love the sound of the water :)
    Oooh and the British crisps one made me happy because I am British and it was so relaxing, unfortunately I don't feel it as much as I used to when I watched it but I still get it with the games.
    Keep them coming anything like them I think those are my triggers!

    Simply incredible and totally relaxing! You seem to be very skilled at the game, which isn't at all surprising since you're obviously a person of many talents. I'm still waiting for that jigsaw puzzle video that I requested when I first subscribed. ;-) Seriously though, this video was amazing. I can't wait for the next one!

  • @Ferhod
    @Ferhod 12 років тому +1

    I know exactly what you mean. It's nearly impossible to try to get ASMR of yourself, and one of the important factors to get ASMR is that you don't know what happens next. To me, it removes the ASMR tingles if there are no 'surprises'. By that, I don't necessarily mean things you don't expect, but things that you don't know. It's hard to explain, I bet you already know what I'm talking about anyway.
    (Btw, you replied extremely fast! :D It only took 30 minutes and then you replied.)

    where did you find this game? I love it! awesome vid :)

  • @Ferhod
    @Ferhod 12 років тому

    You're absolutely right, but there has been a video that I watched over and over, and then it came to a point where I didn't get the tingles anymore. I'm not completely sure why, but I thought it had to be because I knew what was going to happen.
    But the reason why you don't get any tingles when you watch yourself, is harder to explain. I think that one of the reasons have to be that the 'feeling' of the person or the personality, affects the tingles. Older people, who are kind, is one example.

    Are you talking about the glass surrounding the cubes?
    I think that is edited or something. If you watch the beginning you can hear the cubes moving inside the glass cube, but not when the person shakes it.
