Fair points. But I think what dan means is that they are taking advantage of their audience who will trust them, by marketing it as healthy and better that lunchables when it isn't. Their selling points aren't selling points, like their 'real cheese' the 'higher quality ingredients' and the texture of the lunchables' cheese and salsa being inferior when it wont matter, especially because theirs uses the pizza sause as their 'salsa'. It also isn't a meal as they call it. Not even reaching 300 calories. And now it even seems like they dont know how to preserve their products in store with mouldy cheese. Summed up well with dan saying "this is selling crap to kids who don't know better than to trust the people selling it to them". Overall, he's making the same point. That's before when the mouldy cheese controversies became public. Dan saying 'How does this benefit their fans' also shows the caring side of him. It's a really good reply.
I think you missed the point and Dan TDM made a good point and he has been the bigger man in NOT getting into back and forth...if he was truly wrong would he have gotten such a batsh!t crazy response...🤔
I think he is just commenting on the fact that these youtubers have sold out, with a product which they know is lazy. Logan Paul obviously doesn't spend his day craving a box of lunchly, like the way he does in the embarrassing marketing. Even though the world is money oriented, not everyone in their shoes would lack enough 'integrity' to make this product. When youtube was less buisness orientated this type of thing was less common which is probably what he means by 'what happened to youtubers man?' I guess this situation is viewed more negatively compared to if maccies released a new burger as these are indvidual people representing this product and not just a souless entinty/conglomerate, I think individuals(expecially internet personalities) are expected to have more 'integrity,' even though here that is not exactly the case, making this situation more disappointing than anything else. It is probaly also fair to say that this product is coming from two people who scammed their audience which makes this colab quite distasteful.
I think you missed the point here Yes you are correct in saying that ofc the point is to make money. And yes you are correct in saying that there is no inherent issue with them releasing lunchly as is and kids are buying that shit anyways. It’s the parent’s job to make sure their kids are eating healthy. But the point everyone is trying to make here is that they are advertising Lunchly as a healthy/healthier alternative to lunchables when the fact of the matter is that it’s just as shitty and just as processed. In fact there’s been multiple accounts of Lunchly containing molded cheese so we will see how that goes. It’s the fact that they’re advertising this as healthy to their primarily young audience who will go ahead and ask their parents to buy this thinking it’s healthy and better than lunchables when that isn’t the case. If they simply released this without saying it’s healthy then we wouldn’t have an issue. This is also why comparisons like the beer from Tom Holland, or the McDonalds collab don’t hold up. None of them are advertising to be something they are not. The Tom Holland comparison is especially stupid because it’s targeted at an adult audience and not children. So to sum things up, the main issue with this is NOT that they’re trying to make money by selling a shitty product, it’s that they’re also making false claims about their shitty product to an audience primarily made out of kids. I hope this made sense and that you understand where the hate is coming from now
@@JimBallzzzTV it’s implied though. He points out lunchly specifically for pointing out how much more 'healthier' lunchly is, when it got mold and such on it.
