- Today the Mein Schiff 6 is docked in Tallinn in Estonia and we explore the old town of the Hanseatic city (UNESCO World Heritage!).

Mein Schiff 6 is docked in Tallinn, whose Old Town is one of the world's best-preserved city centers from the Hanseatic era and is a Unesco World Heritage Site. We explore the city from the Clay Gate to the panoramic view from the Olai Church (232 steps up a not-so-vaulted staircase), the Blackhead House, and the Town Hall Square. We have a small lunch in the "Olde Hansa". A medieval restaurant that brews and cooks according to original recipes from the Hanseatic era. Highly recommended, though a bit on the more expensive side. Afterwards, we make our way up to the upper town, to the Domberg. There, unfortunately, the weather luck leaves us and it starts to rain. On the way back to the ship we stop at the city wall at the Hellemann tower: Here you can walk along the city wall and have a roof over your head.
This video belongs to the tour "Baltic Sea with Helsinki", on which we have been on the road in July 2023 with the Mein Schiff 6. The trip leads from Kiel via Gdansk, Klaipėda, Visby, Riga, Helsinki, Tallinn and Stockholm back to Kiel. A really great tour.
