This Label cap remover is mainly used to remove the most labels and caps from the plastic PET bottle bodies in the waste PET bottle recycling process. It is a key unit to increase the purity of PET flakes by separating the pvc labels and pe/pp caps and rings.
The label cap remover has two working chambers, the first chamber has the lateral shaft design but short, the second chamber has the longitudinal shaft design but long. Two working chambers are connected directly inside.
On the shafts, knives are welded. On the barrels, bolts with one sharp end are fixed. The gap can be adjusted for different volume bottles between the knives and bolt ends for improving the removing ratio.
During the working process, while the bottles go through the gap between the bolts end and knives, the labels and caps will be separated. By the blaster, the labels will be blown out from the top two outlets, and two label collector are connected to the outlet. The bottles mixing with caps will be push out by the rotary shaft. If a trommel is connected to the label cap remover by belt conveyor or screw feeder, the separated caps will be filter out from the trommel.
Compared to the tradition models, the new label cap remover has many advantages as following:

2, cap removing ratio: 90%.
3, higher working efficiency and capacity.
4, strong structure for steady running.
5, It can low the labor intensity in the recycling plant.
6, it can reduce the load to the crusher by separating the most labels and caps before crushing, therefor, the effective working time of crusher knives will be prolonged.
7, it will reduce the water consumption what should be used for separation of labels and caps by water floating and pushing out.
8, standard color is blue and white, but customized color is available.

Does the glue left behind on the bottles by the labels affect the quality after recycling?

Most labels are PVC type by thermal shrinkage on the water bottles, there is not glue after label remover. For the bottles with glue labels, after label removing, the hot washer are friction washer are mainly used for cleaning the glue and some labels. the flakes quality will not be affected by a good washing line. whatsapp: [phone]
