Me thinking it's gonna be a really great match because all of the girls are pretty and then it started and I got bored. There are no quick attacks, no Iron walls, no cool dumps, no teams really good at connecting, nothing.

The libero for the Bengals was really not pulling her weight. Not sure if it was due to poor communication with her teammates about which seams she was covering, or that she is not confident in her abilities. The libero should be taking a lot more of the defensive load in the back court. They are meant to be the best passers, can set/ bumpset when needed, they help to leave the other back row players open to hit from the back.
Emma Davis that’s exactly what I was thinking. It seemed as if she “did Less work” than the other players. I personally think that the libero is the most important player, yet this player seemed as if she thought she was an extra.

What I really want to know is whether these judges are teachers or not. In Japan, teachers who know the rule of this sport are asked to acquire the licence to be a volleyball judge. In local matches, all the judges are teachers and those without the licence are included. Even in all nationwide matches, basically, the judges are teachers with high-ranked licence. I just have low-ranked one, so I don't have to judge matches nationwide, but sometimes have troubles in judging abilities and have to deal with the scrutinies from both sides in local matches, which sometimes even questions my love to this beautiful sport. If someone knows what's happening in your own country, please tell me.
The referees are certified and have passed the rules test. For a match in that area, I'm confident they've been well-trained. They could have any job, but are not affiliated with the competing schools. The line judges in this match are provided by the host school and may or may not received training. There is no certification process for line judges at the high school level.

the libero serves?
Some tournaments, clubs, or conferences allow it. Just depends. The NCAA women's volleyball liberos can serve whilst the men's volleyball liberos aren't allowed to. I think it's only in the U.S. tournaments though, not any other country as much as I know.

I heard the libero's serve is no violation only under the local rule in the US. As for the libero's set in the front, it's still acceptable in the FIVB rule if the libero does it with under hand as she does in this video. Even when the libero oversets in the front, that's not even violation unless the attacker hits the set in the air... as far as I know...
