    Awesome.
    Your 'horn' frequency is just about exactly between a Pitch and rhythm.
    You can hear the low frequency pitch along with the rhythm pulses backing it.
    That'd put your horn, by my guess, at between 13 and 30 hz.
    well done good Sir.

    That's a true masterpiece! Now, I have a very obnoxious neighbor who likes to keep me awake too late on Saturday nights. With a device like that, at about 5:00 am on Sunday morning, when he's just passed out and will wake up with a massive hangover, a blast or two from one of those should really make his day...

    • @dragondancer1814
      @dragondancer1814 4 роки тому +3

      Kevin S We had a next-door neighbor once who insisted that the whole block live by his rules, and once he complained because we’d left our dog in his run for 15 minutes past his kids’ bedtime when we responded to a fire call. Well, that set my husband off, and we bided our time until the next time he was duty officer. He brought home the utility vehicle that week, and sure enough we got a call at 2:30 in the morning. Regulations require that when we operate the lights, we must also run the SIREN.
      We didn’t hear a word out of that idiot for a solid month after that one! Ain’t revenge great?

    • @dragondancer1814
      @dragondancer1814 2 роки тому

      @@saladking2370 No, it was just karma. Being volunteer firefighters, we knew that the odds of having a nighttime call at least once during the week were more than likely, and if not that week, then the next time he had duty. Our religion states that whatever you do comes back threefold. Therefore, it was karmic blowback for our neighbor’s blowhard attitude.

      @dragondancer1814 6 років тому +1

      Ollitopay It could be worse-I spent two years renting a house off-campus with two roommates my last couple of years in college. Let me put it this way-have you ever seen "The Odd Couple?" (The movie with two guys renting an apartment-one's a neat freak, the other's a slob) Well, picture Felix and Oscar in female form and you had my roommates!
      That was nuts enough, but "Felix" also liked to rearrange the living room furniture every few months, which drove me totally bonkers because once I find a pattern that works, I prefer to stick with it. And let me tell you, there is NOTHING worse than coming home from work in the middle of the night and slamming into a coffee table that your knees know damn well was in a different spot in the room when you left for work that day!

    I searched on UA-cam "massive horn" and was not disappointed.
    On the off chance you're ever in some kind of parade or in traffic I would recommend strapping that to the roof of your truck with a bit of hose pipe stuck in where the leaf blower would go.
    What I'm wondering is how loud can you get it with the object being made of metal? Inch thick drainage pipe of a similar bore to the trash can in this video and a custom welded metal cone on the end flared out a little... It may need more power to drive it, but I imagine it could make a righteous noise.

      We used to work as security guards at the Sheetz locations in our area. That was interesting, especially when we'd bring our German Shepherd with us as an unofficial security dog. One of us would be in uniform, the other would be in plainclothes with Conan on the leash.
      We never said Conan was a police dog...we just never said he wasn't! He was great for crowd control, though!

One time especially sticks out in my mind-one night my husband was the one in uniform, and he was having trouble with a crowd of guys loitering on the corner who wouldn't leave the property after he told them they had to. I was across the parking lot with Conan, so he called me on the radio. Man, those guys took one look at Conan, saw my badge on my belt, and ZOOM! They MOVED!
      Most of the time things didn't get that dramatic, but the Sheetz employees loved the fact that we had a "guard dog" around. Sometimes they'd even slip him bits of lunch meat or some other kind of treat, and he LOVED having a lick of our slushies off of a spoon in the summertime! Good times!

    You need to get one of those portable air tanks that are designed for setting the bead on a tire that is hard to air up. They have a ball valve & a large diameter outlet that allows all of the air to be discharged in seconds.

    Substitute the plug in blower for a battery one, leave the switch on or bypass it, and solder wires to the battery connections, add a positive switch, run to your vehicle battery, connect the ground wire and bam. World cheapest ship horn for your truck. Your welcome, your neighbors are welcome, and the other drivers of the US are welcome.
