There was nothing sneaky about the first Game, it was pure unadulterated Zerg pressure, straight out of a HotS trailer.

I remember thinking the launch trailers were so unrealistic, showing Zerg run headfirst into an entrenched siege tank line. Turns out that's the optimal strategy when you're so far ahead in economy

The baneling into baneling transition was a genius move, and then following it up with baneling baneling was completely unexpected.
I mean... ultras and broodlords are bad engame units so 100 supply of banelings is the best late game units 8)

The last game. It almost feels like tank friendly fire killed more terran units than anything else did.
That's the pun and the point of siege tanks since BW, along with Serral's unforgiving punishment he would dish out every time he catch his opponents mis-positioned units.
So broken that lurkers have no friendly fire, while siege tanks and high templar have it.
@@sjfkriensm Lurker fire in a line while tanks and templar fire only at the enemy... If Lurkers had friendly fire they would be literally unusable since your army could never move in front of them
@@JayJayK-zy6ct There's also the fact if you had more than 3 lurkers the lurkers would kill your other lurkers.

That was impressive! Especially the last game where Serral used broods with infestors and bailings underneath.
Serral is honestly the best Zerg in the world. Love the dude.

As someone who loves Zerg, Serral's gameplay is so satisfying! It's quite funny that Blizzard basically nerfs Zerg just because of Serral being such a god in tournaments.
Byun lasted so much longer than I thought he would in game 1. Serral played an amazing series here.

Serral slowly suffocates his opponents. It's actually painful to watch.
Serral plays the resource game so ruthlessly. If he's mining more bases than they're mining they he never has to risk an all-out attack, he just trades them down till they have nothing left.
Isn't that how Zerg supposed to play the game against other races?

ByuN needed BCs in all 3 matches. Serral had some hydras and some ravagers but not enough of either to kill a BC before it could retreat, and BCs counter every single unit he was pushing with - lings, banes, even brood lords with yamato.
I feel like I haven't seen a BC in 3 or 4 months now. Any reason why all the Terrans quit building them?

that first game was amazing. Serral really playing like a zerg-doesnt matter if something dies, theres 3 more to take its place. I play T but i was rooting for serral, if T can win on 2 mining bases vs a zerg that has the whole map, the game is broken.

why this game is so dark ? bad quality
Every exchange Terrain supply drops heavily, while Zerg uses little and if can re-max within seconds. If Zerg is not suffiently disturbed in the early game, there is no win to be picked up in the late game.
I think the real swarm is the marines, marauders army. How the F you push 3 times with a huge zerg army against the same number of terrans and you consider this to be balanced? Maxing your army 3 times against the same army count isn't balanced

Tanks are just better versus hydras, if you look at serral vs byun from a few weeks ago where serral goes ling bane muta, byun absolutely smashed serral in what everyone is calling the game of the year with his marine splits over a mine field
it seems so broken when T can be on 30 workers for 10 min vs 70+... Zerg has been nerfed so hard bc of serral being so damn good :P

Awesome Game by 2 of the most elite players!
But a sad display that the Broodlords should be removed and replace by Guardians (which serve the same role and are Cannon); this making the free unit disappeared finally!! Swarmhost should also be replaced but i don't know by what exactly because it's unique (but still gotta to go due to using free units) please add a suggestion to replace am all ears :)
Ravagers should also go it's clearly too powerfull early game to bust open places (bunkers) or kills thanks that should outrange them (tanks which should be defending behind bunkers). I would give impalers to Zerg which serve the same purpose but isn't going air and is not dodgeable has easily.
Medivac should have their ability to instant drop and heal 2 target at once! (please read in game (campaign the descriptive of that upgrade; if you are not convinced of the necessity you don't have a human heart ;)
Now the main issue is gone here is the 2nd one Tanks should have the 75% friendly fire damage reduction to start but in addition the really way to fixe that problem (including lurkers) is Banshees with their Barrage ability!!! And to answer the people that would say that curroptors would negate that just need vikings to make sure it happens. And for the love of Starcraft Fungal growth should NEVER touch small air units like Banshees and vikings! ( If it does it shouldn't negate abilities from Massiver units like BC Please look at the real size video from Lowko!!)
I almost forgot ... Where are the Static defense for Terrans : flamming Betties this would negate the run by of zerglings and help mitigate banelings!!!! And for all that think that i am anti Zerg i DON'T, i love all 3 races just saying things to make this match in favor of Terran because i find that the things i mentionned are needed to make ZvT more Balanced! I will gladly explain what i would upgrade for Zerg to anyone that stays civile and have a logical argument; because i love strategizing about StarCraft!!

Dont really know if ravagers should leave, i remember that at the start of lotv you had the option to pick up sieged tanks, i assume it was taken out of the game because it was hard to counter, but it could easily be solved by once you re - drop a siege tank (in siege mode) it has to wait some seconds (maybe 5-7) to start firing again. It would be similar to warp prism micro with the exception the tank can not attack.

Don't you think blizzard has a lil more expertise than you? :o For example the medivacs instant drop and heal multiple targets is just op. They are already a very strong unit. Making them even better would enable terran to end the game with two vacs full of rines.

Highlights? This is just a rebroadcast of the game, lol.
I've cut out around 25-30 minutes in the games, the full games would be around 63 minutes of content.
Maybe I can cut more aggresively, but I think this way the games are enjoyable while being understandable at the same time.

Terrans are so lame. Camping or cheese with widow mines. Draw out games with this defensive grid lock and cheest corners and setups.

ByUn is one of the aggressive terran players. The highlights youre seeing right now shows how good is serral at pushing byun to camp. Look at the map, he cant even get out without getting punished

I get that Serrel is a top tier player, but to me he's just boring to watch. This time, going mass baneling, was the most interesting play I've ever seen from him instead of just hitting the Win Button with brood lord/infestor/viper like he does against every opponent.
I'm pretty sure Brood Lord / Infestor hasn't been a winning zerg late game composition vs. terran since they removed infested terran and buffed thor last year...
Broodlords and infestors are not a "Win Button" , they have a pretty good counter in this match up, If you dont know how to play, i assure you'll lose very easily

@@rodrigolustosa9090 serral's unit control is so far down from byun's it's hilarious. Just look at how he lost those brood lords absolutely for nothing.
In general any zerg main's unit control is much worse than a player of "equivalent" skill maining another race, but they are still at the same level because z race design is literally filled with crutches to help weaker players.
