Joey...what a nice experience it was to meet you and say hello. You really had a nice turnout of great people and your warm personality shined through. Even though there was a line, you took your time with each visitor and your parents were genuinely delightful. They are VERY proud of you and what you have accomplished. You have done more for the Wildwoods during the last ten years than any city official. Continued best wishes for your impressive success. You make A LOT of people happy. Your own legacy is solid.
When we visited a few weeks ago, we planned to visit the Doi Wop Experience only to find it closed. We consoled ourselves with Kohr Bros. custard under the signs. Wish we could have come back for the M&G, but thanks for taking us there on video. And for introducing us to Theo.
Congratulations on the continued success of your channel. Wildwood is such a special place for so many people. Years ago my grandmother had a summer home in Grassy Sound and we used to spend all our family summer vacations there. As a kid there was nothing I'd rather do than be at the Boardwalk. Though I haven't been back in many, many years I love that I have your channel to keep up with all that's happening. I also appreciate your delves into the past. Thanks, Joey!
That a wonderful accomplishment Joey of course you do a excellent job unfortunately I wasn't down there on Sunday. I hope you have a another meet a great again soon. I'm glad you whole family was there to to support you.
Love all you do for The Wildwoods and I’m happy to see that you had such a big turnout for your meetup! I would’ve been there but I’m away on a trip to Europe. Maybe next time!
Hey Joey it was great meeting you and the family. I was your last person in line. 😁 Thanks for signing post cards for me, Danielle and Alex. We need to check out your cheesesteak recommendations next time. You have done great work the last 10 years showing how great Wildwood is to enjoy. Wishing you many more.
It was so great to finally meet after alll these years !! It was a great turn out and so many smiling faces filled with joy & memory ! So happy for you !!
It was so nice to meet you & your family. Had a nice little chat w Julia & Vera You are amazing & have an amazing & very likeable family. Well worth the trip! & a fun experience. Here’s to the next 10 years & beyond! 🥂 ⛱️
Congratulations. We are in Florida and we both grew in pa . I was born in Trenton and my husband was born in Philadelphia. We have taken our Grandchildren to Wildwood. And they loved it. Even though they were born in Florida. Keep the videos coming they take us back.
The meet and greet was awesome!! I met you with my husband, Dad, and sisters. We love your videos! Also, you and your wife are so cute together! How did you meet? Would love to hear your story!💚💙
Sorry I could not make it to the meet and greet. I had an injury and I am in rehab. My family had vacationed at Wildwood for many years. Even though it’s been years since I have come back to Wildwood I enjoy your coverage of everything you have shown. I saw many of the signs of the motels and resturants that were around when we vacationed in Wildwood. The motel we stayed in was replaced years ago but that is the price of progress. At least Wildwood has made an effort to try and preserve the flavor of some of the old motels. Keep those interesting Wildwood videos coming.
wish i could have been there. I could not afford to vacation at wildwood this year. This would have been the week we would have been there. I hope you do another meet and greet next year.
Glad the "Meet and Greet" was so successful. Sorry I missed you and your family. I left on the 15th. I did not realize that my hotel was one block away from where you held it (the Sands - formerly the Days Inn). See you next year on the Beach. ❤❤❤
Congratulations Joey! I really tried to stay but the heat & crowds were making me dizzy. Two big triggers for me, i didn't want to pass out! Really wish i could have stayed. I would have loved to buy something.
Wish I could have made it! Question - do you know if anything from the old Captain's Table restaurant was saved? It was an expensive dinner for us back then, but did it once every vacation to treat ourselves! Congrats on 10 years, just love all that you cover on the channel!
Wish I could have came out but I'm in tx originally from CMC spent so much time in Wildwood when I was growing up it's unreal used to work for Lou I think it was back in the day when he had the family fun park by the bridge on the Rio grande side that was a summer I never forgot was a good guy to work with and for
Congratulations to you all, on your successful meet and greet. Sadly, our vacation fundage went towards our first-ever trip to Knoeble's this year. Hopefully, with a lot of careful planning, we will be down by you next season. Please keep up the wonderful video work. It's simply marvelous. PS - I did get to ride my old "Bobsled Ride". It was certainly nostalgic but much different from its original form. I'm just grateful that it is still with us. Also, the mining ride was in full force. Yes, that too is different but for those of us who are original fans, it was wonderful to ride it once again. A huge 2X thumbs up for one of the best nostalgic amusement parks I have been to in my entire life. Everyone knew where I was from when I yelled out, "There were never any seat-belts on this ride before". Response, "No, you're not in Wildwood anymore". I laughed.....Cheers Everyone and thanks for the Doo-Wop
I've heard about this place before, and after seeing your video I need to get down there. Is it still open in the off season? Congrats on your first meet and greet, it was a big success. Thanks for sharing.
almost to 100,000 subscribers brad! on the poster it said half of the 100 doowop motels from the 1950-1960’s still remain (4:54) they are destroying wildwood one hotel at a time
I wish that I could've been there. Had to go home the day before. I love the Wildwood's and will be going down forever.
Congratulations Joey! Very nice video. Sorry I missed the meet and greet. Keep up the great work!
