Animating isnt actually that hard (of course VERY GOOD animating take practice but animating itself isnt hard to get into). It just takes some time until you get good and an unexpected amount of time for stuff to get done.

His main gimmick were that his sword could transform into a pistol, and his shield into another sword (for dual-wielding purposes). He'd also be on the merciful side, allowing his opponents to live and living by honor. Eh, I can still watch this though!
