We spent a couple of years sailing in the Caribbean, and one of the first things we learned was that the more expensive the sunglasses are, the deeper the water that you drop them in will be. We had those self inflating life jackets, too, and they will self inflate out of the water if the humidity is high enough. They have a little aspirin like tablet that dissolves in water, and they degrade over time. So when you aren’t using them, be sure to store them in as dry an environment as you can to prolong their life, and replace them occasionally to prevent early deployment.

Definitely, DEFINITELY consider running a secondary fuel line from the second tank to the motor with a switch. You will almost certainly not be able to easily swap that from the front to the back, especially if the boat is loaded and/or by yourself.

I had a Golden Retriever, that if I packed my van up to g hunting, she would jump in the van and I would have to put a leash on her to get her back in the house. Then she would sleep by the door instead of my room, because she didn’t want me to leave without her. I am amazed at how much they enjoy the things we do, whether getting the boat out and hooking up, or packing gear, they want to come along and I love that they love it too.

Awesome boat! G3 is the all around Alaskan boat. You should get the inside lined with Linex at Matsu Line-x. It will help a lot so you wont slip, grip for the dogs and lower the sound from the motor and choppy water. Tell them Brandon King recommended you and you will get a big discount.
