My comment is only regarding the SA Police. So SAPS are AFRAID to go into certain areas? This is something we hear a lot. What did these individuals think they were signing up for? They even have their weapons stolen under their own watch at police stations. This is pathetic. This alone is a problem and it starts where they are trained.....and trained poorly. When you join the SAPS you do so knowing there is risk involved. Train them and stop "babying" the students during training. It is a fact that training standards have gone down the crapper. God forbid if you shout at a student during training....shame. We have a police service consisting of lions led by sheep whilst it is better having sheep led by a lion.
