Nice work with the weld joints and texturing . One thing I'm thinking of doing with mine is eliminating the starboard side hull crew station ; there's no mg mount so what is he doing ? Also, i think the location and design of the hatches looks a bit bogus so I'll probably rework them to be like those on the last versions of the Panther . I'll leave off the jack and block too - the last King Tigers didn't have them because they were useless for vehicles of that weight . Lastly , I'll use an 88mm gun instead .
It’s odd how quickly the quality shifts in Modelcollect kits. I’m currently building the Tiger III Ausf E and luckily don’t have any machine marks but I do have very “unique” weld details. Thanks for showing us another great build
I've just bought one of these but I'll replace the unbelievable 12.8 with an 8.8. It looks cool but definitely basic ; i wouldn't have paid full retail for it .
This turned out great! I love the paint job, and the minimal weathering suits the subject perfectly. Not sure if this kit is available here in Australia, but I would love to give it a try. Keep the uploads coming!
@@cliffherring7006 Yes. I was beginning to wonder if it was vaporware. I had several other items in transit during the same time (just pre-covid) and everything was delayed enormously but I did eventually get everything without incident. Just had to wait a lot longer.
I had no issues with my kit. I even left the tools just lightly glued on for later removal and so far they've held up just fine. I had no splitting when sanding the main seams, what there were.
I’m holding off until I can replace the kit tracks. I have a small diorama planned but no sense in weathering it now when I’ll have to integrate the tracks in after the fact. I’ll be doing a diorama build video when I get the tracks.
hi, great job, do you happen to know if the metal cannon exists for this kit?

Love all this paper panzers.

great build! These "paper panzer" subjects are such a nice change of pace from the onslaught of Panzer IVs, Tigers, and Panthers out there.
It's a fictitious panzer rather than a paper one .
About to tackle the E60 Ausf D, so studying this video like my life depends on it.
How did it go ?

That is why i always use Tamiya tape
Great work. Thanks for sharing
I want that kit if for no other reason than to get a hold of that turret.

I ordered the kit directly from Modelcollect as a preorder. You can get it right from them if you can’t find something local or for less.
@@BlitzGreigModelWorks did you wait over a year as well? I did...🤣

So no issues with the Tamiya thin cement? I had heard Model Collect plastic doesn't like it

could have done with more weathering but a good build and finish none the less.

hi, what are the numbers of paints used for the 3 colour camo?
They are all Tamiya acrylic. XF-88 Dark Yellow 2, XF-89 Dark Green 2 and XF-90 Red Brown 2. All were mixed 50/50 with Tamiya X-20A thinner.
