I think the hard thing is when after one day the apprentice is a warrior, with only a day of training it makes it awkward and way more boring
Yeah, true. But the rp would be rlly long. But 6 months.. that'd take Longer, since every day is long

@Nellie Fireway SSO same, it's kinda unrealistic--cuz like.. no sleep for an entire month- anyways, if u treat 1 day as 1 moon, whyre you saying, "it makes it way more awkward + boring when the Apprentice trains for one day and then becomes a warrior."?
It only takes a few days, a hunting, fighting and showing you territory. After that it's test time (of course hunting and patrols inbetween

I’m an experienced mentor so here’s how I lay out my training-
Lesson 1. After the meeting I meet up with my apprentice (usually in the heart of the camp) and discuss the warrior code, also getting to know them.
Lesson 2. Show them the borders of the clan territory, show them how to successfully mark borders and warning them of dangers.
Lesson 3. Hunting small, easy prey. (E.g. shadowclan- large toads, thunderclan- injured birds, riverclan- large, easily hooked fish, windclan- how to break into rabbit burrows)
Lesson 4. (In camp) treating superiors and elders with respect, clan chores (changing moss beds, using moss to give the queen a drink if she is unable to leave camp, same for elders, picking crow-food from the fresh-kill pile) and I like to give my apprentice time to play with kits too.
Lesson 5. Large, faster prey. Rabbits, frogs, uninjured birds ect.
Then they get the assessment, I set them a certain task- hunting a mixture of prey whilst showing me skills they need to have as a warrior.
Agility
Strength
Possibly the ability to climb trees
Swimming
Stalking
If they succeed then I inform the leader for them to be made warrior. Then I become elder. If they do not succeed, I hold them back and train them on their weak points.

I once made my apprentice Clean the elders den because they left camp and skipped a clan meeting by themselves. After that she left camp telling me and watched all meetings lol

If you're a newbie, apprentice is the BEST role to take. I personally LOVE teaching people who either don't know WCUE or Warriors in general.
It’s a great role, I totally recommend it!
Also because you teach them in rp and out of rp simultaneously which is fun :D
Hello! Looking at these tips really helped me to improve how I make my OCs for this. One case is Puddlepaw, he has a comfort feather from a magpie (his mother’s prefix was Magpie so he has a connection to the bird in a way) and is scared of being alone and being in dark areas. He’s quite social and is almost never seen cleaning bedding etc because he’s just so scared of doing something wrong that he is often staying in camp instead.

Ty so much for this! ^-^ I remember when I was in this one roleplay as an apprentice, it was in RC and their were like- 6 of us, we had the best time ever! ♥we eventually became evil but I wasn't as evil as some of the others. We were the last ones in the clan besides the leader who all 4 of us killed (there was one that left after a bit bc they were bored and there was one that didn't want to kill the leader) and then we left the clan bc there was no one else there anymore TwT

Actually tending to the elders/queens is a chore and can be used as punishment too.

I watched the vid, and it was helpful! Expect most of the times there are rarely any elders bc apps like to overflow the servers and ppl just dont wanna be old aso I become an elder that is lonley sometimes, but I do however npc elders.
almost none of these work because 1 there's almost no elders 2 no prey 3 nobody even goes on patrols 4 there's also rarely any elders who need there pelt searched for ticks new moss etc. 5 literally no one wants to be a mentor

I indeed recommend checking the warriors wiki, it helped me rp as a medicine cat and for other stuff
I really recommend you do tips on how to be a queen ,your tips are so good and I see too many new players who believe a queen is like a ruler!
Yea, one time I was the Leader of WindClan, and this cat was a Queen on top of the rock, I told them “Please get off the rock, I’m the Leader of WindClan-//“ (It was a longtime ago, so I kinda forgot). I told them that a Queen is nursing or expecting kits, and told them about the Leader role. After that, the had the Leader role even though I was the Leader of WindClan. I was kinda upset that they didn’t realize that I was originally the leader of WindClan- and you don’t have to read this
These tips helped me so much since I usually always play as an app! Nest could you do something like this except naming? I still get naming pretty confused only that I know is Apprentice:example:Storm’Paw|Kit:Storm’Kit| And Leader:Storm’Star

I remember when I used to roleplay as an apprentice (not on wcue an older wc game before this was made) and it was so awkward being trained- especially since I have social anxiety and don't rp much with random people- I was basically trying to awkwardly roleplay hunting while trying not to seem weird or smth bc I didn't know what to was doing rlly- sorry for the story lol
(Also I think the game had smth to do with skyclan but again I can't remember the name of the game)

Hello, just as a request could you do one of these as a daylight warrior I would love to know ways to improve my way as a daylight warrior because i find it hard to fine tips on anywhere
if still none here is one: make sure you have daylight warrior in your bio- oh and dont get a major role: such as parent, leader, or deputy/medicine cat. and during day help out the clan. once night comes. tell your lead your leaving

I remember one time I was held back for 3 moons ( 9 moons when i became an app ) because I snuck out of camp and caused my siblings too aswell and the longest-lasting one because all my siblings died.

Battling doesn’t only happen during wars? It’s really common for there to be fights on the borders, with rogues, or with any animal threat likes foxes or badgers.
My cats apps routine is: wake up > eat > train > kill a warrior or two ( by death berries and yes the mentor did train them to do this ) > sleep
I feel bad for semi-ignoring (I talked to them a few times and let them guide me around territory and show me how they hunt) my apprentice but there was so much clan leader drama going on
You also have to bring into consideration of a mentor who will ACTUALLY mentor their app

Here is my basic training list! Age 6-7 moons-learning the warrior code-small prey hunting Age 8 moons-basic independent hunting-talk about rouges Age 9-10 moons-normal hunting-train about th3 full warrior code Age 11-12 moons-starclan-teach about great journey That's it!

one time i got a mentor and the leader was suspicous about me so my mentor got a new apprentice
The thing about mentoring is that sometimes it’s the mentors fault
sometimes they’re too harsh and blame you for everything which is really off putting because ur just 6 moons olds
Unrelated but, I was playing wcue and I was in TC and somebody was firestar so I said in chat "NAH FIRESTAR CAME BACK FROM STARCLAN" and the person who was firestar said "lol"
I was a medicine cat and my first app wanted to be the deputy and asked me to become a warrior so they can become deputy.
I said no and I think they left the game.
Me and my second app were on a herb gathering patrol we met some rogues or loners.
Then my app went into a hunting crouch(like I said I was medicine cat) and I went after them and scared the prey and they said "you scared the prey off" or something like that.
So I said medicine cats don't hunt and that's a warrior's job
And they replied "meds can hunt" or "yes they can"
they were an experience player and I believe they've been playing WCUE for a long time
So I asked them to name one book that has medicine cats hunting.
They didn't answer. So I went back to camp empty handed and told the leader flamestar.
When I was trying to leave to gather herbs alone my app started to yell at me to take the leader to the moonstone to get their nine lifes.
They already had their nine lifes at the time. But my app kept yelling at me so I asked the leader to give my app to a warrior and I think they left.
And also I was chatting with another medicine cat and my leader started harassing me. And they think a cat need medicine training to be medicine cat. they were wrong
One time i saw a kit with the suffix -star and I told them their name is ___kit because they're...... Well a kit, and they got mad at me 😭

here's some tips from me on stuff to do if you're an evil apprentice.
Steal herbs and food: You need to have permission from the medicine cat to steal the herbs, because herb stealing in general is just annoying.
Lower the reputation of other cats: You can make yourself look better if you do this. Also, you can do this to "eliminate" rivals. Just like everyone else, ~PERMISSION!!!!!~
Kill other cats: Ways to do this are by putting death berries in fresh kill or herbs, drowning them, get physical, or lead them to a dangerous place or thing. Ya need permission though.
Build up your reputation: Offer help around the clan, like helping the med cat, helping the elders, and maybe you could poison the herbs with death berries? *permission though*
