your experience is very similar to mind. i just got 12.5.4 after driving for months on 12.3.6. i''m also experiencing the occasional phantom breaking and some jitteriness but even with this it's like 5X-10X better by my estimates than 12.3.6. my accelerator presses have gone down like 10X and I have yet to have a critical intervention (only ones due to comfort, and even those are much less). there's also some hard breaking but overall smoothness is WAY better. 12.5.4 is the first time I felt - wow, just some small minor fixes and we are almost THERE.
I agree with you that If your if you’re coming from 12.3.6, 12.5.4 is a huge improvement but for me it’s a regression form 12.5.1.3 that version has its problems but was much better overall. I do agree that this version feels really close to FSD being solved. But we have to keep in mind that the last few percent are the hardest.
