    Happy Friday ❤, I wanted to share my buyers regret experience. I think it’s good to share what products I didn’t like or if I just wasn’t interested in using.
    I do sometimes use the yuka app to check my ingredients but I will not use it to dictate whether or not I continue to use a particular products. Sometimes the app tends to mark a product bad because of one ingredient.
    I just want to be transparent with you guys 🤣🤣🤣, because if I am not reaching for a product I don’t see the need to keep it.

    I appreciate your making this, but for the future, please be aware that not everyone can watch the screen while you speak. It doesn't make a great experience for you to keep saying, 'this one' while holding something up. If you speak the name of what you're talking about, more people can benefit. But thanks for sharing your experience with us.

    Hi! The chi heat protection is best used to prep for a silk press on damp hair. On dry hair it will revert.

    • @rosieamelia5955
      @rosieamelia5955  8 місяців тому

      Okay Thank you 😊 . See I was wondering if I used it wrong because it surly reverted my hair.
      I am so used to using the uncle Funky’s daughter one that does the job. I am normally a creature of habit , but I was out of my UFd heat protection.

    The only one I've used is the Melanin twist cream. I didn't care for it, but I know why. My hair just doesn't like shea butter, and there's a lot in that cream.

    • @rosieamelia5955
      @rosieamelia5955  8 місяців тому

      Yes it just didn’t do the job unfortunately. I am in a space where if it doesn’t work I am not keeping it.

    I do love the melanin for my protective styles. I wouldn’t use it as a leave in conditioner over the products I have now. (Twisting Cream).
    The CurlSmith is super lightweight and my hair loves it as well.

    When you’re showing the product, would you be able to hold up the product and keep it straight into the camera for about 5 seconds? When you wave the product around, slant it to the side, put it down, pick it back up, it’s hard for the viewer to focus on the name of the product, or even the brand.
    I agree with you about every product you mentioned except for the Melanin Leave in. My hair really likes that one. It’s amazing how many people rave about “It’s a 10” products. It’s a NO 🙅🏾‍♀️for me. I peeped 👀 those ingredients a long time ago.

      I will do better, it’s such a habit to talk with my hands. I will try to be more aware.
      The melanin leave in has slip but my natures little secret works better. I am still trying to find something reasonable that I like that I can pick up in sally, target etc.

    I like that TGIN leave-in but you're right about the smell. It's definitely very fabric softener like.

    Yep, it’s a 10 leave in made my hair dry when I tried it years ago for a twist out. Plus the ingredients aren’t good. People rave about it, but it was not good for me. The melanin leave in also didn’t provide my hair with as much moisture as I wanted. I had the same experience as you with that product. Thanks for the video!

    I’m going to have to try that Curl Smith leave in and Nature’s Little Secret leave in. I have been having great success with the Camille Rose Almond Jai as a leave in under my gel, so now I’m interested in seeing what other leave ins I can possibly use for a good wash and go. The TGIN Leave-In with the hair cream from the same line is a staple in my wash day routine. I get moisture from wash day to wash day with that combo and my diy hair butter on top. I do mostly protective styling with the occasional low bun of I'm trying to be fancy now and then lol. But I use them faithfully.

      @@rosieamelia5955 I don't really worry about ingredients too much. Life kills you daily so it's pointless for me to try and avoid everything considered bad or toxic because the literal air is now toxic and the water is too. 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️As long as it works for me, I'm using it. 😂😂😂 And TGIN has never let me down with the LCO method. I do use a clarifying shampoo every wash day as well because I use heavy products and if I don't my hair doesn't absorb the hydration from the deep conditioner that I apply then get under the steamer every wash day, too. It's been a game changer for my low porosity hair. I have to remove all buildup, and have it almost squeaky clean then add the moisture with the DC and hydration from the steam. I recommend a steamer for everyone. I use it every wash day, which is between 10-14 days because I'm home in twists and my bonnet or satin lined beanie 95% of the time. But others may only need it monthly if they're high porosity or wash weekly. I had to figure out what works best for me and my lifestyle.

      @Nille0212 I was living my best life using whatever works for me until after my mom passed away from cancer, my uncle, my grandfather and other family members.
      So my doctor has said we gonna be ingredients safe and she made me do a genetic test otherwise I would be living my best life too.
      I am very high risk, I try really hard to do my best whenever I can because the air is toxic 👀. If I didn’t have two little ones I would be a little more lenient 😩.
      Also the steamers keep breaking I have had 2 and they broke stopped working.
      I got a facial steamer and I used it sometimes to steam.
      You have a solid routine, am so excited to see my curly friends win😊.

    • @Nille0212
      @Nille0212 8 місяців тому

      @@rosieamelia5955 I understand. It's different for everyone. I don't have any close relatives who passed from cancer, just a 3rd cousin. My family has heart disease so it's more about food and fitness for me. And I don't have kids so that's a big factor as well. I'm physically disabled with limited mobility so it's important for me to watch my weight and exercise by walking as much as possible. So it's different for everyone but ultimately it's all about living our best life! And it's taken me a long time to get my routine for my hair but I've finally unlocked the code for health and length. Since 2020 my hair has grown about 22 inches. I recently had to cut it back to bra strap length because it was too much for me to handle. But I attained the goal of waist length hair and it was maybe 3 months later I cut it lol.
