This track is a masterpiece. A Motivating Triple Entendre with at that time, a New Modernized EM Flow. Top 5 EM songs of all time for me. Maybe I’m reaching because he has so many masterpieces but the tone & message inspires me every time I hear it, no matter the mood or circumstances I might be in. It’s as if he’s giving you the fuel to empower yourself & become what you’re meant to be in this world. To stop playing victim & take charge of your life like he did. To work hard so you can get to where you wanna go in life. Even after you’ve achieved that success you’ve been striving for, to keep going because the journey isn’t over. Beautifully constructed song. I DO BELIEVE, IN MY SELF & his quest for universal respect.
This "Platinum" album got so much hate. I get the issue of having no features, but this has to be his most personal album. Believe, Castle, Arose, Bad Husband, Walk on Water, In Your Head, River, and so on. It's no wonder why he had so much aggression on Kamakazi.
@GreenBayPack. I Love Revival. He’s always wanted to do a song with Beyoncé and he said Walk On Water was the best song to do it with Beyoncé. He said that he never thought that any of his other songs were Good Enough for Beyonce to Feature on.
@@shirish1754I've been a fan of Em since 2001 and I didn't like it. Some tracks turned out to be fire in hindsight, like this one, but overall I wasn't feeling the concept. And saying Revival is Em's most personal album is funny when his first 3 albums still exist. 😂

The way he's able to take simple concepts and expand them to the utmost level is insane. I get that that's what rappers are supposed to do (I'm a rapper myself), but he does it to another level.

I'm not gonna comment every little intricacy of that first verse, but it is a labyrinth of word play. There are triples that most people think are doubles.
This track got so overlooked at the time because everyone and their mother decided that politics were more important than life. I'm glad it's finally getting the recognition it deserves in reaction channels
21:51 "And I know that I always got Proof at my back I called you "Proof" because I knew for a fact My ace in the hole, homie, I'm callin' on you 'Cause I think I'm slowly startin' to lose faith in it, so Give me that inkling and mo- -tivation to go" You guys are correct in what you said about PROOF in relation to FACT, but he was also talking about Proof (his late then close friend) and basically went on praying to him in the subsequent lines as he looks up to him as his guardian angel as heard from his song *YOU'RE NEVER OVER*.
Damn!! How do you guys catch so many bars? I've listened to this song a million times and now I feel stupid 😭. The title of the song "Believe" means different things to me. In South Africa during apartheid white people use to call black people "Kaffir" which means "a non believer" and the song is on the album Revival so Eminem might also be talking to us in South Africa.🇿🇦 This is my favorite UA-cam channel 🔥Good job
Thank you 🙏 I’ve been waiting for y’all to react to this… and you didn’t disappoint lol this song is meant for people who think how rap is supposed to be but isn’t cuzEmis diff
Dope reaction, man girl you far gone for this one my girl 😂 love it regardless, makes for an even more entertaining reaction.breakdown I guess + a faaar different perspective is always appreciated 🤙
My issue is that all of the tracks are unfinished. The instrumentals are empty on most tracks and the vocals are distorted and muffled. Sounds like his verses and hooks were recreated over the phone during rush hour in Times Square.
You do know Proof was his best friend and Hypeman on stage and was a member of D12 who sadly lost his life when he was shot in a snooker hall in Detroit on a night out that's what he's saying, he has always got Proof on his back and saying he has seen the way that Proof was driven. There are a few tracks that always remind us that he hasn't forgotten his best friend
This song gives me chills. Also crazy all these years later and you guys still found new bars I never caught. That's why Eminem is classic. My only small critique is the chorus is just ok but doesn't match up to the quality of the verses. I feel like he could have done this on a different beat and maybe crafted it a bit better so the vocals merge with it more if that makes sense. Maybe even having a feature do the hook where he does the adlibs or punches in to it. But I still love this track and not a lot of people have heard it because it's off the Revival album which most people hated.
Thats the most underrated album of all time. He was so authentic and people crapped on it. Between critics and haters. It made him the goat. Shitting on this brought kamikaze and music to be murdered by
I feel like this whole song is a triple about going till the wheels fall off, being an inspiration, and warning anyone that still doubts him. His best song in the second half of his career in my opinion.
They didn't like him being political. He spoke out against trump and his fans that were trump supporters slandered him leading up to the album release, on top of that Joe Budden judged the album prematurely just from the track list, and the Reception only got worse from there, Also dropping an album like this during the mumble rap era... So it was a number of things. Some gems on this album for sure
Three reasons... 1. They saw the track list and formed a verdict before they even heard it. 2. Rick Rubin's production. 3. Political standpoints. Personally, it's not high on my Em album list however certain tracks like Believe, Castle, Arose, Chloroseptic, and one or two others are extremely well done. The imagery and story telling on Castle / Arose is phenomenal, especially Arose. The bars on Believe and second to none.
I've listened to this song a million times and I never got the fanny pack hourglass scheme. Thank you for explaining it! Love the reactions, you two are great.
Asking God if his gift is a blessing or a curse.. Replying as God with Have I not shown you? While also speaking to HipHop as EM. While also taking himself out of the spiral that only creatives understand. Can doubt do what we believe? What is the difference between selling your soul or embracing your gift? That's just what I got from it...I was sweeping my brains of the friggin floor right along with you guys🤯Thanks for the company
The tunnel metaphor is crazy too when you factor in that the lights inside the tunnel as you drive past them have the same kind of staccato rhythm as his flow during the scheme
He's talking about people when they're being depressed and they're on their own sitting alone in their room listening to his music he was there for them to help them see they're through their tough times
I’ve never heard this one, which is hard to “believe” lol. This might very well be one of the best scheme tracks I’ve ever heard. A triple entendre song, while he builds a fucking snowman throughout. Unreal. Also, you 2 are the best!
When Eminem says "ace in the hole" and "Hussein with the flow" Eminem references the former President of Iraq Saddam Hussein (Terrorist and Eminem is a Terrorist with the flows/mic) and the "ace" part comes into play because they found Saddam in a hole in the ground, and he was the leader of country hence the "ace".
U guys gotta do more tracks from this album. Do “in your head” and “castle” and “arose” ( castle & arose you gotta do back to back in the same video reaction because the songs interconnect story wise. The flow and rhyme pattern he uses on “in your head” will make you guys go crazy 😄
I Love this Song So Much and Yes it’s on Revival. And people saying he wasn’t Spitting On This Album. Think Again People Em was Deffo Spitting On This Album. Love this Reaction. Also the Pound thing Weighing Pounds, Uk Currency and Pounds as in Fists Pounding. 4 letter words Shit, Fuck and Cu*t.
I find it highly entertaining that so many have said this album was garbage. The first 2 tracks alone are some of the best rhyme writing that Eminem has ever written. I think this album was the bridge from the younger Eminem to the older and somewhat wiser version. Rather than writing shocking bars to intentionally offend people, he is writing mature bars that force you to really think and evaluate. That’s not saying his older stuff didn’t also make you think, but this is just different on many levels. The amazing thing about this song is that he never loses the theme he sets with the first line. “I started from the bottom like a snowman.” If you listen that same concept is always part of the song. He just finds different ways to paint the picture of hard work and not giving up.
Lol. I love yalls reactions. Yall was high asf doing this one though. No hate. Made me laugh the whole time which is appreciated. The proof he was referring to was his boy proof that was killed. Also proof, part of d12 was his drive or ace in the hole. He was his best friend. The heart beat loops in my soul line is referring to the loops created on the tables or reoccurring loops.
I remember when yall dropped this video and 8 months later I think this is my 3rd or 4th time watching it lol whenever it's recommended I'm rewatching 🙌🏽
Simply Phenomenal… it’s crazy how he constantly and consistently makes call backs to old songs Notice he mentioned Coup de gras in this and the new album’s subtle is Coup de gras Undisputed GOAT

So I Unabomb shit, tick, tick, tick, no remorse, pew
Screw it, I'm lit, and that attitude I blew up on quick

These thoughts can be harsh and cold as ice
To me they're just ink blots
I just fling 'em like slingshots and so precise
So you might wanna think it over twice (yeah)
Or you retards can roll the dice
But beef will at least cost you your career
'Cause even my cheap shots are overpriced
But this middle finger's free as a bird
Nuke warhead at birth, hugest forehead on Earth
Too short for the verse, studied his formula, learned
How to incorporate a curse
Point it towards corporate America
Stick a fork in and turn
'Cause four-letter words are more better heard
The world force-fed a turd to me, you're getting yours
But sometimes I overdo it, but I just get so into it
I was there consolin' you when no one knew it
When your situation showed no improvement
I was that door, you walked over to it
I'm the light at the end of tunnel
So people are always lookin' to me as they're goin' through it
When that tunnel vision is unclear
Shit becomes too much to bear
Since "Cleanin' Out My Closet"
When I was havin' trouble with the snare
I'm that unrealistic prayer answered
And I'ma get you jacked up like you're tryna fix a flat, uh
When you struggle with despair
That double-fisted, bare-knuckles coupled with this pair
Of nuts I'm cuppin', I am your fuckin' switch, nothin' can compare

'Tivation to go, Hussein with the flow
Fake fans left you two-faced at the show
Let heartbeats loop, produce hate in my soul
Layin' vocals two days in a row
True statement, hate to go down this road
But there's only one route to cross this bridge
So I walk in this bitch with loose change
'Cause all my dues paid, but this booth's takin' its toll
But it's never too late to start a new beginnin'
That goes for you too, so what the fuck you gon' do?
Use the tools you're given!
Or you're gon' use the cards you're dealt
As an excuse for you to not do shit with 'em?
I used to play the loser/victim
'Til I saw the way Proof was driven
I found my vehicle and I haven't ran out of gas yet
And when they stacked decks, turn handicaps into assets
Fanny packs, hourglasses
If time was on my side, I'd still have none to waste
Man, in my younger days
That dream was so much fun to chase
It's like I'd run in place
While this shit dangled in front of my face
But how do you keep up the pace
And the hunger pangs once you've won the race?
When that dual exhaust is coolin' off
'Cause you don't got nothin' left to prove at all
'Cause you done already hit 'em with the coup de grâce
Still you feel the need to go full tilt
That Bruce Willis, that Blue Steel, that true skill

The despair bar still gets me to this day.. Great reaction.
was there for the unBELIEVEable stream but had to watch again! big shout out to the community for what they did that night! if you know you know and if you dont know you should check out their live stream next Sunday! those live reactions are dope. all the love to you guys for doing what you do and thanks for the extra song react that night!
Been listening to Revival for 6 years and I never caught the "If time was on my side I'd still have none to waste" bar. Holy shit.
Most surface level bar to miss haha
New fav Eminem reaction channel!! Not sure if it was mentioned yet…Bruce Willis “wheel less”. Tying into the car/wheel scheme 🔥🔥🔥
This is honestly the best reaction to this song that I've seen yet.
This was the best full breakdown of this song I’ve seen yet! ❤
This is my favorite Em joint 🔥🔥🔥
I'm not gonna comment every little intricacy of that first verse, but it is a labyrinth of word play. There are triples that most people think are doubles.
This is one of my favorite new eminem songs
I appreciate you two cus you guys appreciate and acknowledge Ems bars and music without being biased. Respect
This track got so overlooked at the time because everyone and their mother decided that politics were more important than life. I'm glad it's finally getting the recognition it deserves in reaction channels

"And I know that I always got Proof at my back
I called you "Proof" because I knew for a fact
My ace in the hole, homie, I'm callin' on you
'Cause I think I'm slowly startin' to lose faith in it, so
Give me that inkling and mo-
-tivation to go"
You guys are correct in what you said about PROOF in relation to FACT, but he was also talking about Proof (his late then close friend) and basically went on praying to him in the subsequent lines as he looks up to him as his guardian angel as heard from his song *YOU'RE NEVER OVER*.
Damn!! How do you guys catch so many bars? I've listened to this song a million times and now I feel stupid 😭. The title of the song "Believe" means different things to me. In South Africa during apartheid white people use to call black people "Kaffir" which means "a non believer" and the song is on the album Revival so Eminem might also be talking to us in South Africa.🇿🇦
This is my favorite UA-cam channel 🔥Good job
Cuz you are loll read the lyrics
Giving them Pounds is like a dap with their fists. Like a handshake
One of my favorite Em tracks. Yall did not disappoint.
I’ve listened to this a million times and never caught the Fanny pack/hour glass line. Thank you 🤯🤯
Thank you 🙏 I’ve been waiting for y’all to react to this… and you didn’t disappoint lol this song is meant for people who think how rap is supposed to be but isn’t cuzEmis diff
Now this is an actual lyrical breakdown channel 💯❤️🔥🫡
Eminem is to hip hop what Christopher Nolan is to movies. Prove me wrong.
This song is so fucking underrated... EM IS THE GOOOOOOOAT
One of the greatest rap songs of all time!! It's absolutely incredible. I felt like I was listening to a book. Audio abook. Fukn nuts.
For me, this is one of the best rap songs ever.
One of my absolute fav songs from Em 💥🔥🐐
Dope reaction, man girl you far gone for this one my girl 😂 love it regardless, makes for an even more entertaining reaction.breakdown I guess + a faaar different perspective is always appreciated 🤙
Pounds is a British currency and pound is a fist pump in Britain anyway.
My favorite song from this album 🔥
People hated this album so much and he put his heart into it. Castle and arose is dope. I actually enjoyed the revival
Revival is very solid... Both believe and arose are phenomenal tracks.
My issue is that all of the tracks are unfinished. The instrumentals are empty on most tracks and the vocals are distorted and muffled. Sounds like his verses and hooks were recreated over the phone during rush hour in Times Square.
Been listening to this song since it released and you guys just caught bars i never even thought about. Good job guys. Sick song
Guys, your intros are the BEST!!! ❤ Greatly appreciated.
I think you guys are the only ones to break it down like this. You seen stuff that I didn't see before.
All the way from South Africa.. you guys are the best reactors 🙌
Thats the most underrated album of all time. He was so authentic and people crapped on it. Between critics and haters. It made him the goat. Shitting on this brought kamikaze and music to be murdered by
I waited so much for You two to do this one! Awesome reaction. Say hi from Argentina.
He’s the Greatest imo
Chorus is so hard... imo his best song ...
The beat on the song is a heartbeat so few catch this
I feel like this whole song is a triple about going till the wheels fall off, being an inspiration, and warning anyone that still doubts him. His best song in the second half of his career in my opinion.
Revival is so underrated. I was so confused about why people are hating on it.
I'm sure I've probably listened to almost every released Em song. And this is one of my favorites
I've listened to this song a million times and I never got the fanny pack hourglass scheme. Thank you for explaining it! Love the reactions, you two are great.
To think people hated on this song and album.
This is one of my favorite Em tracks, and i think one of his most underrated.
One of the most fire tracks on this album
This is one of my favorite songs from Em 🔥
I've been waiting for this reaction!! Luv yall!!
Meaux's 'i'm not gonna say you're wrong' killed me😂😂😂
Asking God if his gift is a blessing or a curse..
Also the carrot in front of the face he's referencing to his B-rabbit days
Also a reference to the saying stick or carrot (punishment or motivation)
He's talking about people when they're being depressed and they're on their own sitting alone in their room listening to his music he was there for them to help them see they're through their tough times
Guts Over Fear, Fine Line and this one are songs I love listening to when I feel like I aint shit. They just give you the push you need
Such a sleeper song ! Absolute banger
I’ve never heard this one, which is hard to “believe” lol. This might very well be one of the best scheme tracks I’ve ever heard. A triple entendre song, while he builds a fucking snowman throughout. Unreal. Also, you 2 are the best!
Gotta do the original chloreseptic and just all the album
When Eminem says "ace in the hole" and "Hussein with the flow" Eminem references the former President of Iraq Saddam Hussein (Terrorist and Eminem is a Terrorist with the flows/mic) and the "ace" part comes into play because they found Saddam in a hole in the ground, and he was the leader of country hence the "ace".
Could also be a reference to the playing cards the government made listing the top al quaeda operatives.
U guys gotta do more tracks from this album. Do “in your head” and “castle” and “arose” ( castle & arose you gotta do back to back in the same video reaction because the songs interconnect story wise. The flow and rhyme pattern he uses on “in your head” will make you guys go crazy 😄
Nice comeback with the "I'm not gonna say you're not wrong" 😆
I Love this Song So Much and Yes it’s on Revival. And people saying he wasn’t Spitting On This Album. Think Again People Em was Deffo Spitting On This Album. Love this Reaction. Also the Pound thing Weighing Pounds, Uk Currency and Pounds as in Fists Pounding. 4 letter words Shit, Fuck and Cu*t.
The fastest intro I've ever seen 😂😂
Giving someone a pound is like dapping them up. Pounding fist 👊
He literally built a snow man in the song... from the ground up lol
The levels with this man, i swear to God xD
They always mention the "put hands on ya" with the clock... but never connect it all the way back to building a snowman 🤯
DO "UNTOUCHABLE" NEXT YOU WILL LOVE IT
Simply Phenomenal… it’s crazy how he constantly and consistently makes call backs to old songs
Notice he mentioned Coup de gras in this and the new album’s subtle is Coup de gras
Undisputed GOAT
