This track is a masterpiece. A Motivating Triple Entendre with at that time, a New Modernized EM Flow. Top 5 EM songs of all time for me. Maybe I’m reaching because he has so many masterpieces but the tone & message inspires me every time I hear it, no matter the mood or circumstances I might be in. It’s as if he’s giving you the fuel to empower yourself & become what you’re meant to be in this world. To stop playing victim & take charge of your life like he did. To work hard so you can get to where you wanna go in life. Even after you’ve achieved that success you’ve been striving for, to keep going because the journey isn’t over. Beautifully constructed song. I DO BELIEVE, IN MY SELF & his quest for universal respect.

This "Platinum" album got so much hate. I get the issue of having no features, but this has to be his most personal album. Believe, Castle, Arose, Bad Husband, Walk on Water, In Your Head, River, and so on. It's no wonder why he had so much aggression on Kamakazi.

@@shirish1754I've been a fan of Em since 2001 and I didn't like it. Some tracks turned out to be fire in hindsight, like this one, but overall I wasn't feeling the concept. And saying Revival is Em's most personal album is funny when his first 3 albums still exist. 😂

This song had multiple themes running all the way through it...he built a full snowman, he rapped about cards and cars, being the rap God and his motivation/motivational life story (starting from the bottom now he's here) also motivational music and how he makes it and toll it's taken to make that kind of music but the craziest theme is winning the race and the comparisons to the story of the tortoise and the hare(rabbit)

If you close your eyes and just listen to Eminem unbiasedly you will come to the conclusion he’s the best rapper of all time & it’s not even close. He can do everything your favorite MC does but X10 and yet, I’ve never found a MC who can replicate what Eminem does overall….some MC’s have bits & pieces but nobody has Eminem’s full arsenal…….only ones who even enter the conversation (for me) ability wise are MC’s like Rakim, Big L & Black Thought. I just love HipHop and MC’s who take MC’ing to a level most couldn’t fathom.

You guys are correct in what you said about PROOF in relation to FACT, but he was also talking about Proof (his late then close friend) and basically went on praying to him in the subsequent lines as he looks up to him as his guardian angel as heard from his song *YOU'RE NEVER OVER*.

This song gives me chills. Also crazy all these years later and you guys still found new bars I never caught. That's why Eminem is classic. My only small critique is the chorus is just ok but doesn't match up to the quality of the verses. I feel like he could have done this on a different beat and maybe crafted it a bit better so the vocals merge with it more if that makes sense. Maybe even having a feature do the hook where he does the adlibs or punches in to it.
But I still love this track and not a lot of people have heard it because it's off the Revival album which most people hated.

Also proof, part of d12 was his drive or ace in the hole. He was his best friend. The heart beat loops in my soul line is referring to the loops created on the tables or reoccurring loops.
You do know Proof was his best friend and Hypeman on stage and was a member of D12 who sadly lost his life when he was shot in a snooker hall in Detroit on a night out that's what he's saying, he has always got Proof on his back and saying he has seen the way that Proof was driven. Revival is very solid... Both believe and arose are phenomenal tracks.
My issue is that all of the tracks are unfinished. The instrumentals are empty on most tracks and the vocals are distorted and muffled. Sounds like his verses and hooks were recreated over the phone during rush hour in Times Square.
Pounds is a British currency and pound is a fist pump in Britain anyway.
32:05 the carrot reference can also have a different meaning too besides snowman. When you want a rabbit (B. Rabbit) to race you can dangle a carrot In front of their face to get them to go faster.
