The cooker must be LPG ready, or first converted from Natural Gas (methane) to LPG using the appropriate LPG jets and injectors etc. If you connect a natural gas cooker to LPG without conversion to the appropriate gas first, the flames will be uncontrollable and yellow in appearance with sooty yellow tips and horrible looking black soot on pans and kettles, which will be difficult to remove in washing up along with soot stains to the oven / grill walls. A properly set up cooker with LPG jets and injectors etc installed, or an LPG ready cooker that's ready to go on LPG, will produce a largely blue flame, perhaps with very slight yellow triangular tips at the top of the flame using butane gas, but will be largely blue in colour on propane.
Good day. Thank you for your videi. It was really helpful. But pls.. my cooker comes with a plug. Whereever i plug it to electricity... Only in light on the oven comes up. So does it mean its not an electronic gas cooker? Does it mwan i must use Gas before it works?
I'm glad it helped. Thanks for watching. My cylinder was close to my Cooker because of the video. Because I had to show you how to connect it. However, it is safer for your cylinder to be outside your kitchen and also in a shaded place where sun doesn't touch it. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
