- At last! The next stage of the Volvo P1800 restoration is up. We have been snowed under with a lot of other builds so behind with our editing.
In this second part we cover the prep process leading up to paint including full underside prep and paint and of course final paint where we reveal the custom colour the client has picked!
This is not your average P1800 - the level of detail in this build is huge along with many subtle modifications.

Beautiful beautiful car. Great paintwork. Great attention to the preparation and finished restoration of a true classic. Well done top quality work. Probably better paint job then factory finish. Loved the white one in the saint.
Great colour. I painted my P1800 in what seems to be the exact same colour in 1981. “Candy Apple Cherry Red” if I remember correctly. I’m considering doing an ES restomod now.

Hi. I do not doubt the result of your work, just thought about the raptor spraying before the paint, is that not a risk of getting fisheyes from undercoating dust particles? Good video! 👍
