Thanks for the recap! Book 2 is being read next month and I needed a refresher. The way Gwynne tightens the thread that connects the characters and how they all finally intersect at the end sent shivers up my arm. It was all just so brilliant! Gwynne is quite the yarnspinner😃
@@davidr9104 I absolutely love stories where this happens - in films like Bullet Train, Pulp Fiction and Snatch - but this is the first book that I saw it done THIS well. Can’t wait for book 3!

@@TheNerdLounge a bit faster in pace but just as many if not more awesome moments. The direction of the story/characters is a bit more clear. And lots of bloody gory awesomeness.
@@wesleywallace2881 I liked Book 2 but I actually preferred the first one! This one felt a lot like setup for the BIG finale - especially with one of the POV’s

I havent read fhe second one yet i just finished the first.. im a little confused. Just before rifa was released a woman came out. It never explains who this woman is. It just leaves it. Do we find out later i guess?

Are you talking about the woman who came out of her Gaol? If so, yes - she’s covered in the first chapters of the 2nd book.
I DNF’d this thing twice. Didn’t grab me at any point.
