Hey , just for the record, I'm not trying to sell these, I'm just presenting products that I feel are of excellent value and this is a very well designed pedal. I've had for a good amount of time now and its a mainstay on my pedal board. I can use it for many different things such as a volume boost, tone enhancer, overdrive, etc. Bottom line is I'm still lovin' it, and thank you!
TOOL's bass player is Justin Chancellor. Well, probably. Paul D'Amour played on 72826, Opiate, and Undertow. Chancellor's been with them since, and is the bass player most associate with the TOOL bass sound.
studio x music Hell yeah, one of my favorite rock players ever, and the example I always offer first when someone says that 'real bass players don't use picks', haha! I mean, I don't use picks, but that's just because I get the tones I want with my fingers, nothing wrong with it, though.
Hey Jean, when I set an amp or bass "flat", that means that I have the EQ settings right in the middle, no boost or cut from bass, mid or treble therefore you are hearing my "flat sound with no coloration so you can hear a more accurate example of what the pedal is doing, I hopes this helps! thank you
I'll take that as a major compliment! While I never try and sound like any of my favorite bassists, John Entwistle was THE bassist who made me want to learn the bass guitar. Now I have to go back and listen to what I did there!
studio x music yep. The stop-and-go playing, the triplets you did, and those note bends. Then you ended that little run on a chord. It’s like he snatched the bass out of your hands for a few moments there, hahaha XD
I like the apprehension of doing the Les Claypool sound!
Thx man! I do try and add a little humor here & there.
Good review. Very informative. Thanks.
Thanks Chip! Appreciate it!
Man,you convinced me,definitely gonna get me one!! Awesome sound.

Thanks for the justification, at the moment, I couldn't remember but Justin is the only one I know of, awesome player, right?

Right around 8 minutes I think I can hear the Ox’s influence on you.
